FriedChicken Great food for a bar. I had fish and chips. It is battered to order and not just some frozen fish they pull out of the freezer. Big piece of fish, like the one I had in London before. Batter is not the same tho, but still taste good. Perfectly fried to golden color, sitting on a bed fries. Fries had a slight crisp to it. My friend has a sandwich, looks good too. Everyone else order 4 square pizza. That seems to be a popular item Even though it is a tap house, they have a full stock of liquor and their drinks are not waterdown. When I walk in, it kinda reminds me of bar Louie. Because how they design the restaurant. But food is so much better. I am glad this place exist, this neighborhood doesnt have a lot of good restaurants. You can be in and out in 30mins during lunch. Plenty of time to go back to work

Jayson Lavoie Today was my 1st time at Bugsys. Jill (great service) suggested the wings. Her suggestion did not disappoint, they were delicious! Both bartenders seemed to have working together down to a science even when it got a little busy. I will definitely be back.

LaTrina M Went here with my daughter for the first time. The staff was very nice, 2 young ladies. We both eat with plasticware, and when asked, they brought us out a plastic fork and a knife. However, when they brought out the grits to the table, they brought us both plastic spoons without asking! (Its the small things) I appreciated that! We both ordered the same dishes, french toast bacon and grits, and truly we could have shared because the portion size was more than enough for 1 person. Everything was good, including the coffee! If ever in the area again, I wouldnt hesitate to have breakfast here!

Tien Foen Went here during a banquet over the weekend. The service was good. Food wasnt hot but when youre hungry it was delicious. The atmosphere was quite eerie and spooky Other than that, its been at that location since I remember it.

Lynn Bahr Metro Bar is the kind of place you go once and immediately wonder why you haven’t been going all along. I have been coming here for years and the always blown away by the quality of the food and the fun, laid-back vibe — especially during karaoke night. The newly renovated patio and garage doors that roll up are a hit for the indoor and outdoor experience. Let’s start with the food: the calamari is hands down some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfectly crispy, not greasy, and served with a dipping sauce that’s just the right amount of tangy. You can tell they actually care about what comes out of the kitchen here — it’s not just bar food, it’s good food. Everything we tried had that same “made with love” flavor — fresh, flavorful, and comforting. And then there’s the karaoke. Whether you’re a seasoned mic-dropper or just there to cheer on your friends, the weekend karaoke scene at Metro is a blast. The crowd is friendly, the hosts keep it fun, and the energy is infectious. It’s the kind of night where strangers become your new backup singers.

Jamil Mamun An amazing dining experience… the food was well sauced and the lamb was succulent! The fries were crisp and the the veggies tasted as though they had been harvested that day! Definitely would recommend the lamb platter it was overall phenomenal. Along with the food being good, the customer service was top notch. The cashier was quite nice to talk to and the food came out relatively fast (under 7 minutes). NYC Halal Eats… you did amazing!

April Dionisi Employees are great. Food was good quality and quantity. My new favorite place. Never gets my order wrong I come 2-3 times a week the food is that good. I literally passed 12 other restaurants/Coney Island to come here.

Curt VanConant I eat lunch here often and I cant complain about anything... its attached to National Coney Island so you can order from either place but i think Jimmys menu items are better... Service is always great... and the atmosphere is always great at lunch... generally pretty quiet... cant speak for any other time

Samiha Rahman My family and I just dined in, we have the chicken tikka masala, beef curry, tandoori mixed grill with butter naan and garlic naan. Everything was so amazing and we got it l extra spice level and the it was done to perfection MashaAllah! The chicken was so tender, perfect flavors. This underground place is so much better than those mainstream Indian restaurant places and the prices are not too bad either. Really wholesome service as well :))

Holly Great little unsuspecting quiet restaurant! The cute waitress was fantastic; very attentive. Food was very tasty, hot, and good portion size. They had a fun menu with interesting flavors. I’ve been to many brunch places and rarely see a Chocolate Waffle with mixed berries (which was great!) or lemon ricotta flavors. They even had a Ham & Pineapple omelette and Banana bred waffle! They also had a whole wall of pick-your-own hot sauces. Def want to gatekeep this place for myself but I know they would enjoy some love from the community!

Vannah I absolutely love Sunday brunch. They offer a few tasty charcuterie board breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are top tier. The drinks are always tasty. Nothing bets a poppy bartender and a great meal.
