Stephanie Serrano The food is beyond fantastic. I ate everything before i could take and post pictures. The calamari was to die for and the Sunday meatballs....OMG....delish !!! And to top it off... The owner, Frank introduced himself to us which was pretty cool. Highly, highly recommend this place. You wont be disappointed!!!! Oh and the prices are sooo reasonable, the atmosphere ...excellent and the music....even better !!! Thanks so much for such a great NYE dinner.

Justin Jonquil Frank is an awesome chef and an amazingly nice guy! I’ve ordered almost everything on the menu and it’s always been nothing but excellent. Tonight i called close to closing without realizing it and he went out of his way to make me 2 perfect pizzas and a awesome batch of wings, he really cares about his customers (family) and it feels even better supporting a local business. I highly recommend any of the pizzas/ wings and especially the greens and my favorite the “downtowner” steak sub. Seriously the food is ridiculously good and very reasonably priced!

Mel J Sawa has two inside seating spaces but we sat outside in the garden on a large table. The ambiance was lovely on a summer evening - sitting under the string fairy lights as the sky darkened. The food was delicious. We devoured 3 of the dips between six of us (my favorite was the baba gannouj) which come with warm fresh pita. We ordered extra pita for one each but I dont think it was necessary as they are large. The tabouleh was nice and refreshing. The heirloom tomatoes were also tasty and served with a chili oil and garlic toum. We enjoyed a few lamb dishes and all the lamb is from Australia so it tastes nice and not gamey. Lamb ribs and skewers were very good. The whole fish was also super nice, no bones and well cooked. The osmaliyeh was my favorite dessert. Service was a bit slow and weirdly timed with some odd breaks between.

Brian We were in Cateret, NJ to see a show and were looking for a place in Staten Island to enjoy authentic Italian cooking in a neighborhood setting. After an exhaustive internet search we found ‘Osfizio. The place was busy with what appeared to be locals when we arrived and we felt welcome from the second we walked in. The owner Gennaro was extremely warm and personable. The wine and food were outstanding. If we could rate it higher than 5 stars we would. The bread and red sauce is off the charts as was the food. All three of us agreed our meals were delicious. If you want to experience the best of Staten Island authentic Italian food in a casual, welcoming, and fun environment visit ‘Osfizio! Gennaro your friends from PA will be back!
