5 /5 Amanda Jean: I recently dined at Cafe Commerce and had an exceptional experience that I just had to share! We started our meal with the Hamachi, which was nothing short of excellent—perfectly fresh and beautifully presented. For the main course, we indulged in the Rigatoni Carbonara and the Chicken Schnitzel. The carbonara was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of seasoning, while the schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender inside, making it a delightful comfort food choice. To top off our meal, we ordered the birthday cake for dessert. It was a sweet celebration that was simply delicious—moist, flavorful, and the perfect ending to our dining experience. What truly stood out was the staff; they were beyond nice, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Everything about Cafe Commerce was over the top in the best way possible. This spot has quickly become one of my new favorite restaurants in New York City, and I cant wait to return! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

5 /5 Neha Gupta: We just had Thanksgiving dinner at this restaurant — and it was phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, it felt like sitting down to a family feast, surrounded by warmth and kindness. The meal itself was unbelievably good — rich, comforting dishes that felt like home. The highlight though? The dessert and the mulled wine — they absolutely stole the show. Our waiter (Raymond) made the night extra special. He was attentive, friendly, and genuine — we felt so seen and cared for, like we were dining with family. It’s rare to find a family-style spot in the city that gives you that homey feeling, and we couldn’t believe we stumbled on this one. Honestly — a full 10/10. We can’t wait to go back. We’ll definitely be regulars.

5 /5 Stinson Parks III: Stopped by yesterday for lunch before a visit to the new Frick and felt like a local and a regular right away. The place was filled with people who seemed like they’ve been coming for years. Each person more interesting than the last. We sat next to an a friendly couple who lived in the neighborhood and struck up a conversation. The service was superb and the team made sure our water glasses were never empty and we were sat right away and offered all the seasonal specials including the mulled wine, Gruyère grilled cheese with tomato soup and chicken salad. Started with the deviled eggs and table bread and butter. All were delicious. Will definitely stop back by when in the area again. Thanks team!

4 /5 the bb: Enjoyable meal. Enjoyed the steak Diane, roast chicken was so juicy. Chips and dip were tasty. Carbonara was a bit too peppery for me but was otherwise enjoyable. While the bread basket was nice I wouldn’t pay $12 for it, it seemed like the bread was warmed up (but a bit firm). The cakes were served a bit too cold, would have been good if they were brought more to room temp. Also $26 a slice is a bit excessive. AC is very strong, so it could be a bit cold for some people.

5 /5 Michael Lehrman: Believe the hype! This place is a great addition to the Upper East Side, bringing a downtown vibe to sleepy Lexington Avenue. The food is very good. Try the chicken soup to start which is delicious and full of meaty chicken. The burger was very good. The crown in the jewel was the birthday cake dessert. Quite delicious. A lovely space and great service.
