Dark Horse Tavern - (Near Syracuse, NY)

Alan It isn’t fancy but they do have Excellent food and a relatively large menu. Most of the main courses are under $20 but the high end specialties are up to $25. So it’s a good deal in today’s environment. The fillet was a nice size and perfectly cooked. The cod came with 6 shrimp. The goulash was excellent. Desert was good. Try the chocolate brownie or the carrot cake. The one downside: service was - how can I say this - leisurely. Don’t go if you are in a rush.

Hyo Ju Jang My family and I had a breakfast here. We ordered kimchi scramble, spicy shrimp vodka rigatony, pork benedict. We liked all of them, and the best dishes were in order, the benedict, spicy shrimp vodka rigatony and the kimchi scramble. I also drank espresso martini which was uniquely delicious flavor - sweet at first, then vodka later. It seems stronger than expected.

Lilith Absolutely amazing! Me and my partner came here the 12th, our first night (and my first time) in nyc! Wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was amazing. The pizza was amazing. The salt and vinegar fries were amazing. The s’mores sundae was to die for. Really good pick when you’re fried and craving pizza. Our waiter was Marcos, he was really nice, outgoing and super funny. Amazing atmosphere. Very chill, very lively.

jennifer burks Wow!! What a lovely restaurant!! Four of us had a perfect dinner here. Staff members were all very kind and attentive. Misrain was wonderful and took great care of us. The spicy calamari (the best weve ever had), the spaghetti and meatballs, the bronx tail, the veal saltimbocca, the shrimp scampi.... all done to perfection. Our compliments to the chef, the staff, and Chazz!! We will go out of our way on our future travels to dine here again. Magnifico!!

Meli Meli So b day very friendly staff :) price is wayyy up there but ok for kind of restaurant :) as expected... food is ok but not presented in good quality :) like the chicken something came with a plate with melted cheese burned over red sauce no chicken in sight looked like a plate with leftovers to throw out... The other meal wasnt bad included a pic but the steak on stick when you say steak its salt pepper nothing else steak is not meant to flavor like chinese food spicy sweet bitter vinegar what ever that was its not that kind of restaurant i think as the other meals were same mistake ? noone ate ...Maybe change to chinese restaurant or upgrade seasoning as a high quality restaurant as this is one of best in our area... Out of 14 meals 2 were good rest were bitter flavored meat?!?!?! And the drink i had lavendar mix i am allergic to lavendar so they took out that part but drink was fantastic with the rest of the mix .... And a bill 700$ needs aloooot more... And another b day just added this time brunch 14 ppl and same story.... added pics ... Food is not just for looks it needs seasoning....If you want loyal customers... And not just one visit and never again...

Sara Jones A convenient spot for a quick bite! Its located right at the entrance and has two different places to order from; a little coffee place and the café. The sandwiches are pretty good and they will warm them up if you ask. They also have soup, pizzas, salads, drinks, chips, and cookies. There is a good amount of seating both inside and on the outdoor covered patio.
