4 /5 Donnie Chauncey: My partner and I came here for dinner last minute. Its a cute cozy venue. Id go again but I couldnt quite give 5 stars simply due to service. I wish the waiter that initially greeted us actually said hello/greeted us. Instead he approached the table without saying anything and we were expected to jump right in to order. Something as simple as saying, "Hello there," can ease into the service. The food and drinks were very good. However, the drinks took quite a while to make their way to us and we ordered essentially classic margaritas. My partner opted not to get a second drink because it might have taken too long. As far as atmosphere is concerned, Fonda is very cute inside and the bathroom was very clean. Nice place.

4 /5 Philippe Reme: For our food, I would give 6.5 For the service. I would give it a 7.5 for the atmosphere. I would give it a 6.5. I believe the tables were too close to each other. There was not enough space for the servers to walk through while serving. Besides that, the environment feels very welcoming. I wish that they didnt place the music so loudly.

5 /5 Ian Spiridigliozzi: Im not looking for a lot but everything here was great and the staff was accommodating. Vegetarian options, tasty drinks, lovely decor, helpful staff. Really cute interior too. Might be a bit loud. Whatever. Live a little! Also though, dont go with a person who will tell you that youre sweating because you ate spicy and hot food. Also, dont wipe that sweaty brow on them and expect them not to get angry.

3 /5 Abraham M.: The place is alright, purely talking about the food and the atmosphere. Its got a perfect atmosphere for a date night. Definitely get a reservation if you wanted to be seated at a reasonable time or risk standing around for over 20 minutes for a table. I got the Al pastor tacos. Meat was a little dry, pineapple was sparce and not very juicy. The hot sauce was very good and elevated the taco just enough to be a bit better than just good. The Hibiscus agua fresca was alright, not very sweet. Service once seated is pretty quick at least. Always attentive to your water replenishment at least. Not a fan of the lack of hispanic/mexican music in the restaurant. They have the soundtrack of a shopping mall. Its ok overall, nothing too special.
