Albany War Room Tavern - Albany

Rating: 4.2 /5
Joanna Succi We celebrated my college graduation at the Albany War Room Tavern, and it could not have been a more perfect choice! The food was AMAZING—every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The menu has so many great options, and everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS. The service was just as impressive. Karyn was fantastic—warm, attentive, and so much fun—and the host (we kept calling him Bob, although I’m pretty sure that wasn’t his name!) was equally SUPERB. They both made the evening memorable and definitely seemed entertained by our group in the best way. The atmosphere was great too—comfortable, lively, but not overwhelming. We didn’t have to wait at all thanks to making a reservation ahead of time, which made the whole evening smooth and stress-free, especially for a Friday night. From start to finish, everything was wonderful. I’d highly recommend the Albany War Room Tavern for a celebration, date night, or just an amazing meal. We will definitely be back!

TORO Cantina - Albany

Rating: 4.2 /5
Lisa Rennison Had such a great experience at TORO!! First, the manager Jen and server (maybe Daniella… second guessing that lol) were AWESOME! So friendly, helpful, and funny. I have very high standards for my birria so I was hesitant to order their birria quesadilla but WOW did it meet my standards! It was excellent. In addition, I had the chicken enchiladas, which were also delicious!! I would highly recommend visiting TORO if you are in the Albany area!

Gourmet Cafe - Glens Falls

Lenny Simone Had walked by many times, we finally went in! On the way out the diners leaving told us GREAT FOOD here. He was correct! Many different menu items to select from and we were assured all of it, including the cold cuts and soups were made in house. And highly recommended the gluten free breads. Started with the tomato soup and a crab bisque. Amazing flavor and both were excellent. Had the Tarragon Turkey wrap. Side of red potato salad. Also excellent and very tasty. Mean Max IPA as the beverage. Nice selection of wine/beer. Our server was a rock star, Mandy! We chatted about all the menu items and plenty of other food discussions. Shes a real foodie and so NICE! Will have to go back again! As all the others have mentioned. this is Gluten Free Heaven menu choices. Took the Pasta night menu so thats the next visit hopefully. LOOKS amazing.
juliette restaurant

Juliette Restaurant - Brooklyn

Rating: 4.3 /5
Julia Gaines This place is super cute, it is kind of like a slightly downmarket version of Majorelle on the upper east side. The decor is very similar, with plants everywhere coming from the ceiling. The temperature inside was very good. Fans inside give a breeze and not too cold. The food was exceptional. I have the spicy lamb burger, with no English muffin and it came with really good fries and sauce for everything. The burger was perfect it was tender but firm and the goat cheese was not raw which is usually the down side of ordering a burger with goat cheese. My boyfriend says he liked the eggs Benedict and it was “fire” and he “wants to stay here”. (Not sure what that means exactly) Unfortunately rooftop isn’t opened. Only on weekends. The drinks are good too we had Bloody Maria with tequila, one with Mexcal and Rose. Our waiter was Diego. He was amazing on point and very friendly. He had at least ten tables and he isn’t breaking a sweat. Overall I definitely recommend it and also go on the weekend so you can go the rooftop.

Gilbert Chan You come here for great food! I heard from friends, this place has been operating for 40+ years. Must try: Lobster with noodles, salt and pepper flounder, Peking pork chops. Service: friendly Atmosphere: decor is dated, but the staff make up the atmosphere.

brooke stone Gosh, I love this place so much. The food is delicious and the staff are all incredible. Our family has been going here for years and it’s truly a gem of New City. They make the cutest little ice cream teddy bears! My kids freak out for them!
