4 /5 Ryan W: A little pricey, but its a nice place. I got the steak, which was one of the better steaks Ive had. My wife got a chicken a la vodka dish which she did not enjoy. Chicken was bland. Great restaurant all in all, just one bad dish.

Everyone raved about the food, all of the staff were excellent and attentive, and the room where the private events are held is beautiful. Karen was fantastic to work with and was extremely responsive for any changes that were needed along the way. She was willing to make changes for us that she normally doesn’t do for private parties, including having shareable appetizers from the main menu for our guests. The food came out quickly and fresh. They made a number of extra meals accidentally and allowed us to take them home with us. That is just unheard of nowadays! Would HIGHLY recommend having your next event here!

They provide very generous portion sizes, who gets to go boxes at a wedding now a days!? A wedding at Grano does! The staff went above and beyond. They were so attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, making sure everything ran smoothly without us ever having to worry. It truly felt like they were invested in making the day perfect, and we noticed and appreciated every bit of it. They allowed our vision to come to life and were accommodating for all of our wishes. We were never told we couldn’t do something and they made it all happen no matter how big the request. Grano made our day so effortless and unforgettable. We’ll be recommending this venue to everyone we know!

The highlight for me was the tomato soup—rich, flavorful, and comforting—and the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The pasta course was also good, and the appetizers set the tone beautifully. The service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Grano if youre looking for a good meal in Albany.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, modern ambiance and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations from the menu. The star of the show here is undeniably the fresh pasta. I tried their Pappardelle Bolognese, and it was outstanding—the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was rich and flavorful with just the right balance of ingredients. Every bite tasted homemade and authentic, a true reflection of Italian cooking at its finest. The appetizers are also a highlight. I had the burrata, which was creamy, fresh, and paired with a flavorful olive oil and crusty bread that was impossible to resist. The fried calamari was perfectly crisp and tender, served with a tangy marinara that made it even better. For dessert, I couldn’t pass up the Tiramisu, and it didn’t disappoint. Light, airy, and just sweet enough, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Grano is a must-visit if you’re in the Schenectady area and looking for authentic Italian dishes made with care and fresh ingredients. I will definitely be back!
