Kristens Kitchen - Fulton

Rating: 4.5 /5
Daniela Alessia I had my bridal shower here and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely excellent—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and enjoyed by every single guest. The staff truly made the experience special: warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. Kristen truly went above and beyond to make the day feel effortless and memorable. I’m so grateful to have celebrated such an important milestone here and would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.

Michael Polak Update 7/8/25 the food was very good, the place had quite a few people in there and the waitress and other staff were very polite. The waitress even came over a couple of times to refill my cup of coffee which makes a big difference with me.OLDER INFO: My wife had the mild chicken riggies & I had the beer batter fish fry with home fries and I put gravy on them & I chose broccoli. The food was good. Theyre open until 9pm on Fridays. Both of our waitresses were good. The only thing we didnt care for was the use of a loud vacuum cleaner for several minutes. All customers kept looking around during this time waiting for it to stop.

The Whiskey Coop - Sackets Harbor

Jesse Reinhold Was checking out the local area and this place caught my eye. It was recommended to me and now I understand why. They were having $5 pint beers which include all your specialty beers which is unheard of and they were doing 50% off appetizers (except the pork belly which is market price up here). I had the clouds in the sky and the 1812 beers which were both excellent, flavorful and not overly hoppy. I also had the duck wings with the buffalo maple sauce which was outstanding! They had a wonderful fry on the duck wings and the sauce was a perfect blend (im not the biggest buffalo sauce guy). They do not have a view of the water, so be aware, there is another resturant next to them that blocks that view. They did have Coyote and Crow come play on the patio which was a refreshing folk acoustic, folk punk type style. Couldnt find them on Spotify but hopefully they have music out there somewhere. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by the assistant manager Elizabeth who was extremely helpful and caring. Good luck when you help to open the second location in Watertown!

1UP Arcade & Pub - Plattsburgh

Yogi Slivers The beer selection is fantastic and varied. I super recommend the beer flights. The pizza is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. We had a great conversation with the owner about WWE and it was easy to talk to the locals. I missed Comic Con this year so this pub soothed the comic nerd in me. Stop in and enjoy the place.

Shortys - Amsterdam

K’Sabor Shorty’s is a great place to go and grab a bite. I was working around the area for about 2 weeks, I found the place on google maps since i was looking for a place to get some wings. They didn’t disappoint. I had the “Blazing” wings and the Garlic Parmesan with some tots. Wings had great flavor and they were nice and crispy on the outside but meat was real juicy not dry. Tots were also nice and crispy just how i like em. Waitresses were welcoming and friendly. Overall great experience.

Villa Paradiso Ristorante Italiano - Staten Island

Angela Giglia Had a great time food and service were excellent. But there were 3 separate parties which, although very festive, the music was deafening, the 4 of us could barely hear each other. Lol had a sore throat the next day from trying to talk over the music lol lol. But loved all the Italian ambiance, songs and dance. Next time? A quiet Sunday afternoon maybe lol
