Halfway House Restaurant - (Near Elizabethtown, NY)

Ravi Deva We ordered Momos (Dumplings Nepali style). Chilli Momos (8 pieces), Sizzling Momos (8 pieces) and steamed Momos (6 pieces). All with chicken stuffing. They were all good. Wanted to try their Thali or their Nepali platter but the host/server said our order was plenty and he was right. We ended up bringing 8omos home. Will try the rest of the food next time.

We were blown away with every bite, each dish was perfectly executed: flavor, concept, texture, presentation. We loved the open kitchen design. We sat at the bar watching the master chefs at work adding an element of entertainment to the night. We felt like we were treated as there special guests that they wanted to impress. Chef Cruz & Marko sent little surprise tastings, explanation of dishes, honest recommendations and cared about the occasion we were celebrating: a cancer free screening. #23Moral Asian Cuisine Noodles and Dumplings is a hidden gem located in the town of Mahopac! The atmosphere is cozy and sweet. Plus service is great! The owner is very sweet and takes her time to answer any questions you may have! The food was delicious! We had the steamed Shanghai buns and the double fried chicken wings to start! The fried chicken was so crispy and tasty! The buns were mouth watering and very juicy. We then had two different kinds of soups. We ordered the Sho-Yu Japanese Udon and the Malaysian Spicy Miso Ramen. The roasted pork in each soup was soft and the soups were both perfectly seasoned! It’s our new favorite sport and we will definitely be returning.

Jenene England Wings were good and we liked that they had more than just your average mild, medium, hot etc. However, the place looked like no one cleaned all day. Paper wrappers were strown on the floor, cooks were stepping over an entire order of fries in the middle of the kitchen. Lastly, we ordered ahead and still had to wait past our pick up time for the wings to be ready. We would order from there again, but eating at home was the way to go.
