4 /5 Ms B N Honest: Beautiful establishment, slightly overcrowded & quite noisy. Salad bar was located near the bathroom, which was rather un appealing yet a great restaurant with phenomenally delicious food nonetheless.

4 /5 Madhukanth Kodali: The food was good and tasty The restaurant has a good ambiance and pretty Christmas decorations we had the salmon which was a special that day with the chicken parm and aubergine parm all of them were good The salad bar was so fresh but missing some protein options in my opinion. For dessert we had the lemon cake in which the buttercream was excellent but the cake was dry and cold . The waiter was so sweet to us. Now, coming to the atmosphere there was a lot of crowd that day and it seemed the other waiters kept running into each other and customers when they had to use the washroom. Other than the awkward placement of the washroom everything was ok.

5 /5 Melissa: I love coming to Lanie’s every time I am in upstate New York. Its a fun mix of casual/upscale with delicious food. When I go to Lanie’s I go out of my way to order an entree that allows me to make a trip to their salad bar. Its a real fight deciding which is better, the bread and butter or the salad itself. The bread used here is thick, but cushiony soft, easy to eat, delicious and the spread compliments it very well. Just wish the spread did not have olives but that’s my personal preference. I went out of my way to visit on our last night in NY and ordered the ravioli. Those suckers were the size of my palm!! I was so excited when my plate arrived and was showing off the size of my ravioli to the rest of the table like a little kid. The ravioli were absolutely divine. There were 5 on the plate which I only ate 2 since I was full off my salad. The sauce to ravioli was a perfect ratio, but I am also a person who can eat pasta and ravioli plain. The filling was just enough which led to the best bite every time. I appreciate the staff, they are always so kind, considerate and helpful, even during the busy holiday dinner rush.

5 /5 Bonnie Esrig: Great place to stop for lunch after picking up a guest at the airport. We sat outside in the pleasant patio. Our waitress was both friendly and efficient. Our sandwiches were delicious and the sweet potato fries to die for. I would definitely visit again. We decided to split a dessert and ordered the fried ice cream, which sounded delicious. Despite a beautiful presentation, neither of us were blown away. It was challenging to eat and the hard frozen ice cream had too much coating. But there were other appealing dessert choices and next time well try one of those. Overall, highly recommend Lanies Cafe.

5 /5 Priscilla Kotey: This is a great restaurant to visit with family and friends. The food is delicious and they’re generous with their portion sizes. The cocktails are also pretty strong. The waiters are very attentive and helpful. Violet made our visit an absolutely memorable one. Overall this restaurant gets a 10/10 from me.
