Theresa Fenske Excellent service from our waitress Crystal! She went above and beyond to find our kiddos ice cream at the end of their meals. Wonderful and attentive to any of our requests. Food good as always and nice view of the River with a ship in port. Server who brought our meals was also very pleasant and friendly. Very enjoyable meal!

Elizabeth R We visited early for dinner on a weekday after a day of hiking and were made to feel right at home by our wonderful server as soon as we walked in, and had a lovely time seated outside by the water. The owner of 50 years cooked for us—the Cajun blackened catfish was to die for, and we got to try salt potatoes for the first time. The Rachel sandwich and the grilled Cajun chicken sandwich were also delicious. We really liked the seasoned potato wedges and a refreshing cocktail. The pictures may look simple, but the flavors are amazing. The decor, while a little dated, only adds to the charm. We were on the fence about going and are so glad we did. A must stop!

Blaine Maples Love this place! Its a semi- regular restaurant for this girl when Im in Staten Island! Everything Ive eaten is good and they have a great selection of drinks. On my last visit I had the marinated flank steak and it was amazing! The matrix burger is also one of my favorites. Sometimes we just order appetizers...

Cherie Watson Fish fry with mac & cheese is fabulous!!! Highly recommend. Mason was our server and was excellent- smiles, efficient, and seemed to truly enjoy serving! Hes a great addition to the other tenured awesome servers! 1 star less on atmosphere only due to seated right next to 2 other boisterous parties when there were other open tables. Could consider option to seat with some space between parties, especially as we were past the Friday dinner rush.

Mike Smith Ive been going to Emilias since the mid 00s and havent had a bad or mediocre meal. The food is always fresh and spot on. The owner and some of the waitstaff are still there from when we first started going. Anytime we make the trip down from the mid-Hudson Valley we make sure to come here. On my most recent trip the calamari app was very tender, fresh and crisp; the pork chop special was out of this world and insanely tender.

Tara Konya Honestly, I loved this place for the people-watching, but the beer, food, and conversations made it even better. The tempura broccoli was packed with flavor and surprisingly filling! While the seasoning didn’t quite complement our Pink Marg pizza, we were still glad we ordered it. The pizza itself was great and the perfect size to share. And hands down, the Zeus IPA was the favorite at our table. We also tried the Variable Frequency from their Experimental NEIPA series. Even though the description highlights juicy notes of red berries, honeysuckle, and blood orange, it definitely drank more like a West Coast IPA, crisper and more bitter than hazy and juicy. Still enjoyable, just not what we expected based on the style. Great spot overall, fun vibe, and we’d absolutely come back!
