Station 45 American Chop House - Binghamton
Tom C My first visit to Station 45 on June 11 was a wonderful dining experience. From the service to the food.
I would like to thank my waitress Lauren for her wonderful service and for answering any questions I had.
My dinner started with a glass of Sequoia Grove wine. It had a nice taste.
My appetizer was the eggplant stack. Nice size slices of eggplant, cooked perfectly with tomato sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese. It had a wonderful taste.
Then came the French Onion soup. A favorite of mine, I always order it if its on the menu. This didnt disappoint me with French Swiss and provolone cheese. Plenty of onions and a rich broth, cheese melted perfectly. Its topped with two nice pieces of thick bread.
Now to the main course. A veal chop with milanese butter and asparagus.
Veal has always been a favorite of mine. This didnt disappoint. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, melted in my mouth, topped with the milanese butter gave it an amazing taste. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch to it.
Now on to dessert. The chocolate mud cake. No words can describe how amazing this was. It was fantastic. The whipped cream and chocolate crumb topping enhanced the flavor.
I will definitely be returning soon to try other of the amazing dishes on the menu.
Definitely give them a try if you are in the area.
