1 /5 Nicole Latella: Looks good at a glance. Unfortunately, it doesn’t taste good at all. Biggest issue was the quinoa, which was spoiled. Strong smelling, slimey, and rank. I ordered quinoa because my son does not like brown rice, but this is not how quinoa tastes. I used to operate a Poke restaurant in NYC, and this is NOT what quinoa tastes like or smells like.
On top of that, the tuna was flavorless. Completely unseasoned. Poke is supposed to have its fish marinated in salt and oil, or some soy sauce marinate. This had none.
The real shame here is that the toppings are actually good, and the sauce used to finish the plate was decent. Tastes like a pale imitation of poke. Super disappointed.
