Steak Stone & Sushi - Lockport

Rating: 4.4 /5
Larry Holcombe Weve been to the Niagara Falls location and it was so good we wanted to try this one. Well, this restaurant continues to amaze me. The atmosphere is very upbeat. The staff are friendly and really seem to want you to enjoy your time with them. The drinks were cold and served quickly. The sushi is, hands down, the best Ive ever had. The freshness, quality and presentation were spot on. To find that both locations held to the same standards is remarkable. The ginger dressing on the fresh salad was excellent. We had an avocado salad which was presented beautifully and delicious. I hope to visit again next time Im in town.

Dina Levkova This is literally my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. I discovered this place through a friend over 10 years and have been back numerous times. I can say that Ive never had a disappointing meal there. The flavors are amazing and the drinks are on point. Always make sure you get the guac and the queso fondito. Favorite meal is the camorones abogados (I might be off with the spelling). Also, do not skip the brunch.

J L Interior is polished rustic. The menu changes weekly. All plates are made with care and beautiful. The food was amazing. New favorite place to eat upscale food (no fried crap food here). Will come back weekly when able. Tell everyone, this couple and their restaurant need to stick around.

karl krause Brand new, great sport vibe, lots of college students, has a nice view upstairs, waitress and servers very friendly. The Irish tacos were great, big pieces of pork drizzled in cheese sauce over potato skins. Good selection of beers, prices reasonable.

Its a Utica Thing! Kitchen & Bar - Utica

Rating: 4.1 /5
saggy dan U-tica? U-BETCHA!! Do NOT let the bland exterior fool you or deter you from eating here. Inside of its nondescript exterior lies this hidden Italian gem that evokes the famous Italian eateries of Little Italy and Brooklyn - but at a fraction of the price you pay in NYC. A modern, classy theme permeates the interior of this authentic, family-run joint, and puts you at ease while ordering a cocktail or beer. Their pasta is homemade and their sauce is tangy yet robust; a perfect combination. Chicken parm is a staple and cooked to perfection while the white pizza has a delicate touch to it that belies its simplicity. A cannoli for dessert will help round out a meal you’ll be happy you ate while looking forward to the next visit. I never thought I’d find such a great Italian restaurant in this neck of the woods, but make no mistake: It’s a Utica Thing! Plays its part to perfection. Visit. Eat. Be Happy. Come Again…

Jaimie Lee Looove the menu here. The service was excellent. The food was amazing for the most part- I would say my seafood boil was a bit bland, but maybe its just my palate. I loved my bananas foster martini(s). To go back to the setvice, we didnt have a babysitter for my 3 year old, but they brought us crayons and a coloring page. So thoughtful! The table side Caesar is to die for.
