Tappo Restaurant - Buffalo

Sarah Freedman This place is as cute on the inside as it is on the outside. Definitely a fun vibe and friendly service. We walked in on a busy Saturday night but Claire and Megan were able to find us a table right away. Server Megan was also a gem. Lover Boy and Golden Hour are both five stars and I would return for these drinks alone. Great spot.

Connor Shortt I took my brother for a late birthday dinner at this location. Both of us were first time visitors to the franchise as a whole. Our experience was unbelievable! The restaurant was quite busy when we walked in yet we were greeted with smiles and with no sense of urgency on the hostess to get us a table. We were seated right away and served their famous bread rolls with cinnamon butter which made us only want more. Kelcie (sorry if I butchered the spelling) greeted us as her server and treated us like she was welcoming family into her home. She was very thorough and made excellent suggestions on the different sides. She was a busy lady working the bar and tables but we never felt forgotten and never had to ask for anything as she was there ready for our next question/request. As for the food if we could give a 6 star we would as they wowed us with the right amount of seasonings and flavour combos. Will for sure be back to see Kelcie and have more delicious food. Keep her around shes a superstar.

Jade Strauss My family came back after the reopening and the space feels so much more open and airy. The food is still amazing—honestly might be even better. We were starving and only snagged photos of dessert, but for dinner I had the mushroom ravioli and it was super filling and delicious. I tried one of their cocktails (can’t remember the name). It skewed more tart than fruity for me, but my sister liked it. Desserts were absolutely to die for! I’m sad they dropped the crème brûlée (also to die for. I would only come to Bocca just to have it and nothing else), but the blueberry ravioli—sweet jam in a pancake-like fried dough with vanilla ice cream—was outstanding. The Cookie Vesuvius Cake had a molten center that flowed chocolate, and the tiramisu was excellent too (no pic, we inhaled it). Overall, the service was wonderful; our server had great recommendations. I’ll absolutely be back for dinner—and honestly, I’d come just for the desserts. I hope to stop by soon!

Grind-On Coffee Company - Newark

Chris Riesz Easily the best coffee and breakfast spot in the region. They have a ton of basic and fancy coffee options, fresh pastries, breakfast and lunch options that all taste like high quality homemade foods. Lots of cozy seating inside makes this a great weekend brunch spot or an easy coffee stop before work.

Stephanie Wolak-Fleming We stopped in here for dinner and drinks, and would definitely stop again! I got a basic crispy chicken salad and the garlic parm fries- both were delicious! This place isn’t well rated because “it’s the only place around to eat”- it actually makes really good food. Lots of beer selection too! 10/10 would stop here again.
