Charlie Matthews This is a tourist diner, the atmosphere was an 11 out of 10, and the food was pretty good. The desserts were fantastic! Considering all things, I’d give it a 5 stars overall and I would go back. But…. I will give a critical review of the Reuben. I feel like I’m very well traveled and exposed to a lot of different foods from all across the US (check out all my reviews) to give a fair assessment. So with all that in mind, I’ll say it… y’all use (and it seems all of NYC delis) too much meat, not enough sauerkraut. Yes, I said it. Not enough sauerkraut to meat balance. And the dressing is served on the side, which I kind of liked the concept, but I didn’t like the actual dressing. ( For reference - The best Reuben I’ve ever had was in middle America, legit KC.) But all that aside, the other menu items were great. Especially the Hungarian goulash. I’d order it next time myself. But the overall menu was huge and there’s a lot to try, so we will be back again one day. And the best part of the meal was dessert. Everything we got was excellent. Give it a shot yourself, but go early or late, or you will have to wait.
