Solaia - (Near Monticello, NY)

5 /5 lisa gani: Excellent restaurant on all fronts- the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Best we’ve experienced in the area. They were kind enough to take us after 10pm when the kitchen was closing. Being that late we were the only ones left in the restaurant but the service was exceptional. They did not try to rush us out given the late hour but rather offered us an after dinner drink on the house. We had the specials (sea bass, salmon) which were lovely. In addition to bread at the start of the meal they also served an accompaniment of lavish crackers, cheese, and dried meat. Would definitely eat there again.

5 /5 Samantha Hardcastle: First dined here for the Sullivan partnership holiday dinner and has been our go-to for American Italian ever since! The raviolis are my favorite. The squid and octopus special was perfectly cooked - tender, not rubbery. The artichokes are also a go-to. Super nice people.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays warm, festive, and inviting. The food was excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. Everything from the atmosphere to the service made the evening feel special. It was the perfect setting for a holiday gathering, and I’m so glad my first visit was during such a lovely event. I look forward to returning and highly recommend Solaia to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the area.

The owner, son and chef all showed an amazing passion for providing a top notch customer dining experience, with perfectly mixed martinis, and exquisitely prepared dishes. No one rushed us and our courses were served with time to enjoy our cocktails and salads before the main entrees. Only regret is that we dont live close enough to come to Soliana every week - it is that good in all the areas that make a great difference experience.

5 /5 Samuel Kaplan Art com: What can I say… I never expected epicurean excellence on route 42 in Monticello New York. The delicious Veal Picatta was amazing, the Sea Scallops were from Cape Cos and Mesmer superb with an amazing sweet and tangy sauce. However the Chilean Sea Bass was the pies de resistance I mean its was a heavenly melange os Lemon zest that melted like butter wow. Cute place too sit by the fireplace they have a mixologist serving up espresso Martinis. True Michelin star!!!
