The Hops Spot - (Near Syracuse, NY)

3 /5 Ashwin Mudigonda: I came her on a snowy night eager to enjoy the poutine and beer. The beer part was taken care of with a huge selection. The decor and ambiance was very inviting with the red bricks and tall ceiling. I got the pierogi and found it a tad chewy and lacking flavor. The sour cream made up for it. As a vegetarian I skipped the bacon jam but I hoped the pierogi itself would carry its weight. The poutine arrived and I dug into it. I found this to be on the other end of the salt scale! The gravy was a bit heavy on the rosemary. Overall I didnt find it to be too pleasant.

5 /5 Ellie: the food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! the poutine was delicious, and the service was exceptional and super friendly. the atmosphere was nice and modern. a great place to eat!

5 /5 William Halbrook: Being our first night out ever in Syracuse, and using Yelp to find this place, our experience was awesome. Julie helped explain the menu, recommend some flight beers, and the bartender made us awesome Rye old Fashions. The food was awesome, Poutine exceptional, and we had a great Sunday night experience.

3 /5 El Gato Corn Hoss: As others have said, the beer selection is great. Staff are friendly. Unfortunately the last three times I have been, I have ordered a burger and it’s been cooked well done even though I asked for medium rare. They used to have fried chicken sandwiches which were to die for. I no longer see them on the menu. That is disappointing .

5 /5 Kevin Paxton: Awesome, that is the only way I can describe my experience at this nice little restaurant. I ordered off their menu and received more than I expected. The burger was cooked just like I liked it medium mooooo. When I have a chance to visit Syracuse again, my first stop is to the Hops Spot, and when asked, Ill tell everyone about this place. Also, dont get me started on the beer list. I havent seen a selection like this since my time spent in Germany.
