5 /5 Tiffany Wong: Eveytime I come to Terrapin it has always been a wonderful experience, no visit to Rhinebeck is complete without stopping here. An old church converted restaurant bistro/bar, sparks enough intrigue to pull you in. The food ranges from comfort, to extravagant restaurant quality without breaking the bank. I dined alfresco at the bistro, and it was just a beautiful scene with incredible food, a staff that had a hip, cool, laid back vibe (Thanks Nick!). The caribbean bean and rice dish is such a winner everytime, not to be complete without Creme Brulee and a coffee before hitting the road. The menu choices, the vibe, the price point, and the staff accomodate everyones needs. Visiting Terrapin at Rhinebeck definitely makes me feel like Ive been transported out of New York in a good way. I will definitely be back!
