The food was refined and beautifully executed, the service was attentive and polished, and the atmosphere was perfect for a honeymoon—elegant yet warm, sophisticated without being stiff. A special thank you to Chef Yoshua, who hosted us so graciously and made the evening truly memorable. The kitchen tour was a fantastic touch—eye-opening, inspiring, and honestly… wow. Thoughtful hospitality, excellent cuisine, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. A honeymoon dinner done right. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

4 /5 Chance S: The meals were exceptional. We ordered quite a few items from the bar room, and I honestly don’t think there was anything I disliked. The hot dog, citrus salad, and scallop were outstanding. I really enjoyed the mocktails as well. The desserts weren’t my favorite, but they were still good. I don’t want to be picky, but our server was a bit too dramatic and, in my opinion, not very well trained. I could tell he was trying to be engaging and make the experience enjoyable; however, some of his reactions were confusing. For example, when we ordered one The meals were exceptional. For example, when we ordered one dish, he responded with “devastating!”, which caught us off guard as we’d never heard that used positively. Overall, his energy felt a bit overwhelming. There were also a few service details that stood out: new wine was poured into an old glass instead of a fresh one, our table wasn’t cleared consistently, and the order in which dishes came out felt a bit off. Additionally, our server was absent for about half of our dinner, so we were often waiting to place orders and receive the check. Another server kindly stepped in, but when we asked what had happened to our original server, he mentioned that he was busy with other tables. This was somewhat disappointing given how refined the overall experience was. But, I would still definitely visit again. It was a minor thing to me but it’s definitely something they should train for better experience.

5 /5 Lynn Jackson: The service was great. Upscale atmosphere with the New York pace. I really enjoyed the mini crab appetizer, it gave you the punch of the ocean. I love how the chef made the light cream full of strong scent, of orange and bonito without any curdling. Seafood is so delightful and fresh, you can taste the sweetness of the fish. The mini pumpkin dumplings are so creamy and tasty with the fried spinach leaf, the sweet lobster with the super thin slices of lemon was delicious. The duck special is on the chef(thank you!) and its skin is so crispy the melt in your mouth meat! Five course menu is enough for me; it will be too much! Highly recommended you to go and find out your own! Or finding little excuses to celebrate there! It’s a lovely restaurant to dine in with or without a company (prefer to share with other friends and family though)! P.s. I also saw an older lady with her family there, it remind me of my family growing up going out with grandparents every week to have a family meal together.

4 /5 Brett Montclair: Overrated over priced and one bland dish seemed to meld with the next bland dish to the point after a while none of the dishes had individuality. It was a crescendo of boringness. Yes it a Michelin Star but these days - what does that mean. Michelin star places like JAN in Munich or White Horse in Basel or anywhere but the USA are real treats, the presentations are memorable and the course are very distinctive and stand out. Here- not so much. They do have a very attentive staff. Actually the staff are the stars at this restaurant and the food dishes are the understudies. If you are into Michelin star restaurants go to Europe. Yes we do have some here that cut the mustard. As the table next to me said- their simple maybe artistic sign for the front of the restaurant might speak volumes. There is no pizzazz. Our main waiter had charm, grace and was truly a professional waiter. Normally when I am ecstatic about a place, I take a ton of pictures. It’s not the case here. The duck was good but go to PORTALE in Chelsea and you will be blown away at their presentation and the taste of their duck dish that I thought this place could take a lesson from them. I had just returned knifing and forking my way through London Rome Istanbul Amman Aswan Luxor and Cairo for six weeks and this place was supposed to celebrate my return. Oh well! The wine from Benoni was good. The risotto was tasteless mush. Service was outstanding if only the food matched our waiter and support staff’s skills it would have been a wonderful celebration of coming home.
