Paul Cramer Excellent all around. Food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. One of the finest restaurants in Buffalo or anywhere for that matter.

Ariana Lucidonio Came for a big birthday celebration with 8 people and had a great experience! The service was truly fantastic and so was the food. The rigatoni alla vodka and bolognese were standouts. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauces were just right - simple but delicious. The chilean sea bass fell apart to the touch. The cucumber salad was crisp and bright. All the desserts were yummy - vanilla meringue cake was fluffy and airy. The only issue is how small the restaurant is. When I say tight quarters… i mean TIGHT! You don’t even know where to stand because a million waiters and patrons are constantly trying to maneuver through the place. It’s quite overstimulating, luckily we were a large party that was seated in the back.

VICTORIA C We came on Christmas Eve and it was extremely crowded. The restaurant previously held a Michelin star, and after this visit, I can see why it might have lost it. Perhaps it was due to the holiday rush, but the service that night was fairly mediocre. We ordered the white truffle pasta, $110 for 4g. While the presentation was fine, it definitely did not feel Michelin-level. The risotto was more enjoyable than the tagliatelle and had a much richer flavor. For the starter, the Cannolicchio was quite creative, and the Astice was excellent!! The lobster was very bouncy, fresh, and sweet, and the burrata was rich and milky. Unfortunately, the Ricci was a big disappointment; the uni had a strong fishy taste and the quality was poor. For the primi, we tried the Capellini, which I was really excited about but ended up disappointed. It was overly acidic, and the butter was not well incorporated. We also ordered half portions of the Pappardelle Granchio Reale and Fusilli, and surprisingly, these simpler pasta dishes were more enjoyable than the so-called signature ones. For the main course, we chose the Anatra. It was already portioned when served, and the duck skin was beautifully crispy, one of the best dishes of the night. We ordered two desserts and both were very good; I especially liked the tiramisu. Overall, the portions here are quite generous. Some shortcomings help explain the lost star, but I would still recommend coming when it’s less crowded.

Kiki R. Thank you so much to the hostess who picked up my call on Christmas Day and made our last-minute reservation happen. I had been here once before with friends, and I was so happy to finally bring my beloved friends back on Christmas. We loved everything from the moment we walked in. All of us truly enjoyed every detail from the drinks to dessert. The service was excellent as always, and the cozy atmosphere with warm lighting made the experience feel extra special and memorable. We shared a variety of appetizers and entrées, and everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

David M Looked around places in NYC for a burger and drink at a bar. The Capital Grill really delivered. Service is so much better, staff friendly & helpful. Bathrooms were really clean and multiple team member asking if we need anything else. Wagyu & Wine was a great deal and glad I stopped by!
