Kiki R. Thank you so much to the hostess who picked up my call on Christmas Day and made our last-minute reservation happen. I had been here once before with friends, and I was so happy to finally bring my beloved friends back on Christmas. We loved everything from the moment we walked in. All of us truly enjoyed every detail from the drinks to dessert. The service was excellent as always, and the cozy atmosphere with warm lighting made the experience feel extra special and memorable. We shared a variety of appetizers and entrées, and everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Rothmanns Steakhouse - East Norwich

Robert Torossian Rothmann’s is a classic Long Island steakhouse done right. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels upscale but comfortable—perfect for a special occasion or a great night out. The steaks are outstanding: perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and high quality. The sides are just as memorable (the creamed spinach and potatoes are must-haves), and the portions are generous. Everything comes out hot and timed well. Service was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. You really feel taken care of from start to finish. The wine list is extensive and pairs beautifully with the menu. Consistently excellent food, service, and ambiance. A true staple for anyone looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience on Long Island. Highly recommend.

Manhatta - New York

Rating: 4.7 /5
Charlotte Saint-Hague I visited Manhatta in New York City and had a truly pleasant experience, especially with their tasting menu. The restaurant sits high above the city, and even though I didn’t get the exact window seat I requested, the panoramic views were still stunning and added so much to the atmosphere. The dining room felt elegant but relaxed, making it perfect for a special night without feeling overly formal. The service was polished, attentive, and knowledgeable—exactly what you expect from a Michelin-recognized restaurant. Courses were timed perfectly, arriving smoothly without long waits or feeling rushed. The tasting menu itself was beautifully curated, with each dish thoughtfully prepared, balanced, and full of flavor. Portions were just right, and the pacing made the entire meal feel like a well-designed experience rather than just a series of plates. The vibe was calm, intimate, and ideal for enjoying both the food and the incredible skyline. The staff handled everything smoothly, from seating to explaining dishes to adjusting small details, and the overall quality made it absolutely worth the visit. Even without the perfect seat, Manhatta delivered an exceptional, memorable evening with remarkable views, refined dishes, and excellent service.

Emil Yao Hands-down the BEST fancy seafood restaurant in town. Great ambience, super fresh & seafoods and very very good service! ❤️ Bartenders were amazing. The “liquid dessert“ cocktail he made for me was EXCELLENT! It’s a bit pricy but totally worth the money! I will be back.

VICTORIA C We came on Christmas Eve and it was extremely crowded. The restaurant previously held a Michelin star, and after this visit, I can see why it might have lost it. Perhaps it was due to the holiday rush, but the service that night was fairly mediocre. We ordered the white truffle pasta, $110 for 4g. While the presentation was fine, it definitely did not feel Michelin-level. The risotto was more enjoyable than the tagliatelle and had a much richer flavor. For the starter, the Cannolicchio was quite creative, and the Astice was excellent!! The lobster was very bouncy, fresh, and sweet, and the burrata was rich and milky. Unfortunately, the Ricci was a big disappointment; the uni had a strong fishy taste and the quality was poor. For the primi, we tried the Capellini, which I was really excited about but ended up disappointed. It was overly acidic, and the butter was not well incorporated. We also ordered half portions of the Pappardelle Granchio Reale and Fusilli, and surprisingly, these simpler pasta dishes were more enjoyable than the so-called signature ones. For the main course, we chose the Anatra. It was already portioned when served, and the duck skin was beautifully crispy, one of the best dishes of the night. We ordered two desserts and both were very good; I especially liked the tiramisu. Overall, the portions here are quite generous. Some shortcomings help explain the lost star, but I would still recommend coming when it’s less crowded.
