Charlotte Saint-Hague I visited Manhatta in New York City and had a truly pleasant experience, especially with their tasting menu. The restaurant sits high above the city, and even though I didn’t get the exact window seat I requested, the panoramic views were still stunning and added so much to the atmosphere. The dining room felt elegant but relaxed, making it perfect for a special night without feeling overly formal.
The service was polished, attentive, and knowledgeable—exactly what you expect from a Michelin-recognized restaurant. Courses were timed perfectly, arriving smoothly without long waits or feeling rushed. The tasting menu itself was beautifully curated, with each dish thoughtfully prepared, balanced, and full of flavor. Portions were just right, and the pacing made the entire meal feel like a well-designed experience rather than just a series of plates.
The vibe was calm, intimate, and ideal for enjoying both the food and the incredible skyline. The staff handled everything smoothly, from seating to explaining dishes to adjusting small details, and the overall quality made it absolutely worth the visit. Even without the perfect seat, Manhatta delivered an exceptional, memorable evening with remarkable views, refined dishes, and excellent service.
