Vitaliy Quality experience from start to finish. The ambiance is clean and sophisticated, perfectly complementing the fantastic and creative food. Each dish is a work of art, delivering a dining experience that rivals those found in London, New York or Paris. You don’t have to travel far to experience pure bliss—this place has it all. Love it!

The River Café - Brooklyn

Kirsty Visiting this restaurant is an experience, not just a meal. Everything about it our visit here was fabulous. For us it was a splurge while visiting New York, to celebrate our Engagement, and The River Cafe kindly gave us a window table for this special occasion. The skyline looking back across New York from under the Brooklyn Bridge was truly spectacular. New York even decided to have it start snowing while we were there which meant we walked out into a winter wonderland. There was also someone playing the piano which added so beautifully to the ambiance. The food was flawless. Everything we ordered was taste profile balanced and so yummy. There were complimentary little entrees before our chosen entrees arrived. The pace of food coming to the table was not rushed. The service was excellent. The only thing I can think of to enhance the meal/experience would be a palate cleanser. I would highly recommend a visit to the River Cafe.

kendra “Kenny” Hands down, this was the best meal we had in NYC, and we just happened to stumble across it. I’m so glad we did—especially after eating at several “recommended” places that were honestly disappointing. This spot completely blew us away. The bartender was incredible, and you could tell he took real pride in his craft cocktails—he even came over to our table to make sure everything was perfect. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we had an amazing experience. Choosing from the menu was tough because everything looked so good. We ended up ordering the soup dumplings, bacon claypot rice, sweet and sour pork (perfectly breaded), green beans (my personal favorite—and my husband even ate them, which is rare!), and the kung pao chicken, which was absolutely to die for. The lychee martini was fantastic, and the old fashioned was one of the best we had during our entire trip. I would fly back to NYC just to eat here again. Absolutely phenomenal.

Sarah Sexton Had a wonderful evening with fantastic food and service (thanks Billy and Hannah)! We all had steaks: Waygu Ribeye, Ribeye and the Bone In Strip. We had 3 sides between us: mushrooms, fries and cauliflower gratin. The steaks were all beautifully cooked to our liking and sides were delicious. Desserts were sorbet, cheesecake and chocolate bomb (which is enormous and could easily serve 2!). A great evening.

VICTORIA C We came on Christmas Eve and it was extremely crowded. The restaurant previously held a Michelin star, and after this visit, I can see why it might have lost it. Perhaps it was due to the holiday rush, but the service that night was fairly mediocre. We ordered the white truffle pasta, $110 for 4g. While the presentation was fine, it definitely did not feel Michelin-level. The risotto was more enjoyable than the tagliatelle and had a much richer flavor. For the starter, the Cannolicchio was quite creative, and the Astice was excellent!! The lobster was very bouncy, fresh, and sweet, and the burrata was rich and milky. Unfortunately, the Ricci was a big disappointment; the uni had a strong fishy taste and the quality was poor. For the primi, we tried the Capellini, which I was really excited about but ended up disappointed. It was overly acidic, and the butter was not well incorporated. We also ordered half portions of the Pappardelle Granchio Reale and Fusilli, and surprisingly, these simpler pasta dishes were more enjoyable than the so-called signature ones. For the main course, we chose the Anatra. It was already portioned when served, and the duck skin was beautifully crispy, one of the best dishes of the night. We ordered two desserts and both were very good; I especially liked the tiramisu. Overall, the portions here are quite generous. Some shortcomings help explain the lost star, but I would still recommend coming when it’s less crowded.

Per Se - New York

Jeff Downing We have been to French Laundry and had an opportunity to go to the Per Se cafe and loved it. It was a smaller pre fix menu and to be honest it was the right amount. There some familiar items such as oysters and pearls and ending with amazing desserts. The service was excellent and whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommend
