1 /5 Brittany Eiffert: Ordered through door dash at noon, this food was atrocious. Theres no excuse for the food to be as old and dried out as it was. The brisket looked like imitation meat it literally was like thin slices of jerky. The Mac and cheese was so old that the cheese hardened and dried out it was like eating plastic. There was zero flavor. Ill never order or recommend ordering here to anyone. Especially with what they have the audacity to charge.

5 /5 Jason Yanchik: Update: 2/13/2025 Returning back my timing was perfect because tonight is burger/chzburger night with fries for 7 bucks. Toppings extra of course. I started out with a cup of their chili, oh this was delicious, not spicy hot, flavor to warm you up on a cold day. Now for my burger I added just about everything I could think of, lettuce tomato sauteed onions and mushrooms and bacon. Ordered medium rare, and as always service was spectacular. Fries were nice and crispy. I ordered their chocolate mousse for dessert and OMG this was so good I felt my sugar count go up just by looking at it. Everything was so delicious cant wait to come back! Walking into the American Grill I was professionally greeted in a timely manner. I ordered "the duke" which is their version of a cheese steak however they use brisket, American cheese, their American sweet BBQ sauce, sauteed mushrooms and onions. The brisket was very tender, the bun nice and soft. Now I added their sweet sauce because I like a lot of sauce, now how it came was just as good, I just like sauce. You got a side being fries or chips with a pickle, I did fries. Now they are not , I should say dont look like fresh cut however nice hot and crispy. I also had their Texas Weiner with chili sauce yellow mustard and onions. Again the bun was nice and soft. The dog had a great taste which blended good with everything. To top it off I got their chocolate mousse for dessert which was incredible! If you have never been here before you got to check them out. Be blessed everyone!

4 /5 S. John Ross: We tried, between us, three meats (pulled pork, wings, brisket) two sides (greens, and BBQ beans), cornbread, coffee, and all the sauces they put on the table. The brisket didnt resemble brisket at all. It was a perfectly good roast beef, but ... smoked brisket is a special experience, and this wasnt it. We both liked it well enough, but if you love brisket (and we LOVE brisket) temper your expectations to the level of "perfectly good roast beef." The pulled pork was good. The wings were really nice. Both of the sides were phenomenal, absolutely bragworthy. The cornbread was good. The coffee was fresh, and at first it was disappointing otherwise, but it grew on me. Not bad. The sauces were a nice little grand tour of sauce styles, and all of them were good. The service was exceptionally good. Really, far beyond. Attentive, engaged, friendly and helpful. The place itself is nice, basic diner-style layout. Comfy. Would happily return. Next time I think well both just skip the "brisket," though, and focus on their strengths. Time to try the ribs!

5 /5 Joe Garraffo: I’m so happy we drove through this town and this restaurant. Amazing food, super helpful staff. I only wish we lived closer to come back again soon.
