Mangia Bistro & Bar - Scranton

Rating: 4.8 /5
chris Mangia Bistro and Bar offers New York–style Italian cuisine right here in Scranton, and it absolutely delivers! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, modern, and welcoming — the perfect mix of upscale and comfortable. I started with the Lobster Bisque, which was smooth, creamy, and full of rich, buttery flavor. You can taste the freshness in every bite. For my entrée, I had the Pollo San Pietro — a perfectly cooked breast of chicken topped with Prosciutto di Parma, eggplant, sweet peas, and fresh mozzarella, all brought together with a tomato demi sauce. It was an absolute standout — the flavors blended beautifully, and every detail was spot-on. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a Limoncello Spritz from the bar — light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel right at home.

Roots Cafe - West Chester

Allie Carter Everything about this place is amazing! All the servers are so nice and friendly and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. The food was fantastic - we shared the French toast bites and the mushroom soup, and for entrees we got the pork belly benedict and the autumn scramble. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. The vibe in the restaurant is so cool, and I loved everything down to the plates and bowls! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
the whip tavern

The Whip Tavern - Coatesville

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ashley Cho The Whip Tavern is a bit in the boondocks, but it has a crowded (free) valet parking area. Inside, the atmosphere is rustic yet cozy—very English pub–style. You can tell this place gets packed with locals, making it feel like a hidden gem. The servers definitely expect you to have a reservation, so it’s highly recommended. There’s a nice selection of beers to choose from. The Scotch egg was decent. The soups were a bit disappointing especially the mushroom soup, which wasn’t the creamy mushroom soup most people would expect. It was very bland.. tasted healthy. That said, I was blown away by the weekend special beef Wellington. The bangers and mash were pretty good as well. The English toffee pudding was excellent! Overall, the prices weren’t bad. The bartender greeted us promptly and my server was great. I would definitely come back and try more dishes.

Gabby E We made a reservation for 9 people and they were very accommodating. We had a fantastic time, the staff were all super friendly. They have a bar, sushi bar, regular tables and multiple hibachi tables. I’d highly recommend coming. My friends enjoyed the fried ice cream, fried banana foster, I had nibbled and liked them very much I ordered the salmon and chicken hibachi meal with a Shirley temple for $33 They renamed to Robata

Joseph Hampton Wish I could give more than 5 stars… Quiet, quaint, place where most of the locals dine. Reservations recommended, however I was a party of 1 & was fortunate enough there was seating at the bar. Jess was phenomenal & on top of everything. I never had to ask for anything. The best house calamari & chicken picatta I’ve ever tasted. This place is a hidden gem with friendly staff, & prompt, fresh food service. Enjoyed great food, great company/conversation with locals, & was thoroughly impressed! You will not be disappointed!

Habibi - Erie

Rating: 4.5 /5
Harman kaur Multani Habibi is honestly my favorite place in Erie! The very first time I went was last November when I had to stop by the IRS office across the street. The smell of their food from outside literally pulled me in — and I’m so glad it did. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Their kebsa rice, chicken kebab, lentil soup, and hummus are just on another level… heaven for a foodie like me (and I’m a chef myself, so I don’t say that lightly). The owner is the sweetest, so polite and kind — you can feel the love in the place. If the staff gets a little friendlier, that would be a cherry on top. But honestly, I could eat here every day. This spot has my heart ❤️
