david moore I only ever got take out but the service was fast and friendly.. their pizza is good ..the white pizza is amazing!! It was so good we got it Friday and then again on Tuesday..

Carrie Troudt I have never had such an incredible meal. We had intended to just get something to go because we only had 15 minutes left on our parking meter. Chef Sammy met us inside the door and dishearteningly agreed to make us something to go. Then Josh, the waiter, told us that we didn’t have to pay for parking since it was Veteran’s Day. We decided to stay and boy are we glad we did. We had the blackened yellow-fin tuna in ginger sauce as an appetizer, followed by the wild caught salmon with capers and julienned vegetables, and the sautéd grouper & shrimp. It was exquisite and I savored every single bite. Then, for dessert, we got tiramisu and a cannoli. The tiramisu had the perfect blend of flavors and texture while the cannoli was just the right amount of crunch and filling. Both desserts were the perfect level of sweetness and provided a magnificent end to the meal. The food wasn’t the only thing that was amazing though. Since we came at a slow time of day Chef Sammy was able to take the time to share some of his origin story with us, and we were able to visit with Josh the waiter who has been there for 18 years. Amazing food. Incredible service. Worth every penny.

Cristian Radu Quick lunch turned into a delicious experience. Amazing turkey sandwich on rye bread (Rachel), and the well known Shephards Pie to top it off.

Michele Ford Update 11/12/25: My 2nd visit was similar to my 1st. Friendly staff, delicious fresh food, great place to stop for breakfast. Met friends for breakfast. I was impressed by the amount of fresh vegetables in my egg white omelette. Not many restaurants use fresh vegetables ( outside of onions and peppers). Another plus- you can get fresh sautéed vegetables in lieu of potatoes. They make their bread and desserts in- house. We were able to get separate checks. Friendly staff. A fantastic choice for breakfast. The restaurant is small- so plan ahead.

Vee Snafs I stopped by Anthracite Saturday afternoon after a long work week. I wanted to find a spot that had a nice atmosphere and good vibes. This one did not disappoint. It was an intimate and lively atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly. Mikayla approached me immediately and took very good care of me. Anthracite has some delicious sounding martinis on their menu. For the season there is a Pumpkin Spice martini and also a Peach Cobbler martini, both which sounded amazing. I had been craving an Espresso martini all week long, although I was very tempted to try one of the seasonal drinks. Mikayla made mine perfectly✨️ I only wanted an appetizer to munch on, so I ordered the Coconut Shrimp. The portion was extremely generous. It was yummy and the Pineapple sauce that came with it tasted home made. This was my first time trying Anthracite but it will not be my last. They had good vibes, good spirits, friendly staff, and (the part I like the most) its a safe place for a single girl to sit alone and not be bothered by anyone and enjoy a nice afternoon nourishing myself. Thank you Anthracite! You have a new fan.
