Hosss Steak and Sea House - (Near Meadville, PA)

5 /5 matt: First off, I want to say that I have been to this location a few times now, and every waitress we have had has been great. However, today we had the pleasure of having Lexi L as our waitress. With her kindness, and great personality, my family and I had a ton of laughs, and just an all around great time. We will definitely be requesting her next time we stop by! The food is also delicious, whether you’re ordering from the menu, or just grazing at the salad bar- you’re bound to find something you enjoy. For extra measure, my step daughter has multiple food allergies, and she’s always been able to eat safely here- with the help of their online allergen menu, and the help of their staff.

2 /5 Zachary Clark Ransom: EH! The staff were very polite and helpful. That is all I really have to say that is good for this place. The salad bar was decent, but how hard is that for a place to get right? I got the managers special for dinner. It was 10 oz. "Cleaver Cut" steak and 10 shrimp prepared either sautéed, fried, or a third option that I dont remember. The steak seemed like it was a not so great sirloin and that wasnt seasoned. They were also supposed to top it with garlic butter, but that didnt happen. The shrimp were terrible. Tasted like they were steamed and then had a little seasoning sprinkled on top. This meal was $33 with the salad bar and was very disappointing for that price. Idk if I will ever go back or could recommend you giving a try.

4 /5 Monica Cellio: The soup/salad/bread/dessert bar is an option for all meals and has good variety including vegetarian proteins. (Also meat, but I didnt look closely at that.) The salad ingredients were fresh and well-stocked when we were there. The entrees ranged from ok to good. None of the soups are vegetarian, but my meat-eating companion liked the chili and the onion soup.

2 /5 Sicilian Girl: This used to be such a treat to go get all you can eat salad bar. I go once every few months for soup and salad only and its been pretty good but today it was not so good. The salad bar was pretty fresh but there was food all over the place and the handles were not clean. The dinner rolls were great and I had 2 but the butter dish was empty. I also got a small serving of nachos that were so stale and really not edible. The chili was nothing but canned tomatoes and kidney beans, LOTS of beans and no flavor so I went back to try the broccoli cheddar and that was just as bad, just made with broccoli slaw and no flavor at all. To end my meal, I got a cup of cheesecake pudding. I topped it with cherry topping and whipped cream. It was OK but very little cheesecake flavor. Such a disappointment today. Im not sure I will be returning.
