cheyann crisci The hubby and I decided to dine in at Pearly Baker’s under the new ownership, and we were so glad we did. We had previously stopped in once for drinks and a round of pool, which we enjoyed, but this was our first time sitting down for dinner—and the food did not disappoint.
Our son started with the French onion soup, which was a perfect blend of Gruyère and provolone over a rich, flavorful beef broth. My husband ordered a Caesar salad, and it disappeared before I could even snap a picture—that alone says it all. I chose the harvest salad, topped with arugula, roasted vegetables, apples, cranberries, and pecans, and added grilled chicken. It was fresh, hearty, and absolutely the perfect meal. Our son also ordered the ribeye cheesesteak and loved every bite.
To drink, I enjoyed a lemon drop martini and followed it up with an espresso martini—both were excellent. The waitress was very attentive, and we really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere.
We can’t wait to go back, and we’re especially happy they’re open on Sundays!
