Mels Hometown Restaurant - (Near Corry, PA)

Integrity Integrity After some shopping in the Steam Town Mall in Scranton Pa we decided to get some food here. We were pleasantly suprised of the quality and taiste of some excently prepaired Brisket that melted in our mouths. We also tried some great chicken cheese steaks and a ceasors salad. The fried fish was very good which was lightly battered to perfection. We met with Toby, one of the owners who was very welcoming and enjoyable to talk with. He really cares about quality and customer service. We need to come back for the Jerk Chicken where they get some of the ingredients from Jamaica!. We also need to try the macaroni and cheese which we heard is amazing. We will be back.

Matt Fisher Good Chinese buffet with a little something for everyone. Offers a WIDE variety of typical Asian food + sushi + hibachi + limited but ample selection of traditional American food (pizza + fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy) + desserts (bite sized pastries & 8 kinds of icecream) + a LIMITED salad bar. The steamed crab legs were a definite PLUS, as were the crawfish that you dont normally see in most restaurants, let alone an all-you-can-eat buffet. The dining area was SPACIOUS and clean, as were the restrooms. Conveniently located with ample parking and easy handicapped accessibility. The friendly and attentive staff were appreciated.

Ernesto Perez Awesome place in the middle of nowhere. The ambiance and the overall space is fantastic ! Food delicious ! All on their menu is will made and quality ingredients. Their shop is also full of different farm products at very affordable prices. A must Visit in central PA !

Cristen Hoagland-Easton This place always looks busy, but it worked out that we stopped today. $50 for 2 adults and 1 child. Service is great. We were immediately greeted and seated at a clean table. Server was there quickly. We had drinks right away. The table was already stocked with condiments- that were full. Our order was taken and perfectly executed. The food was delicious. It was a neat perfect experience. We were there about 3pm ish, by design so that it wasnt crowded. It was obvious to me theyre used to busy and seem to have everything under control. Even the parking lot was being cleaned as we left- that is such an important detail for me and shows the owner and staff have pride in their business. The menu has a lot of options and you can get breakfast after 11 am. We all left happy and full. Adding first place to our favorites list.

Austin Slater In town for the weekend. Ordered take out to the Hotel. Food was Tremendous. Ordered an XL Meat Lovers pizza and a Dozen Bacon Ranch Wings. Absolutely Fantastic. Delivery driver was friendly and attentive. Food was fresh on delivery. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Vanessa Matney The food was delicious! My husband and I are from out of town and was looking for something different to try for dinner. I found them on line and liked what I saw on the menu. So we gave it a shot. I tried the French dip and it was wonderful. The beef was sliced very thin just how I like it and my husband tried the tacos. It was a Tuesday and I guess they have Taco Tuesdays! He really liked them. Hes a picky eater so I was surprised he mentioned liking them before I asked. $1.50 for a taco you cant go wrong. The service was great as well. Quick and our order was perfect. We will definitely be going back when we are in town again.
