cork cap restaurant

Cork & Cap Restaurant - Lancaster

Rating: 4.4 /5
Pat Webster Cork & Cap far exceeded all expectations tonight! Don’t wait for a special occasion to visit. The hostess made us feel quite welcome BUT our Server, Domi, provided the best service EVER without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble as she anticipated our every need. The atmosphere was interesting and classy. The food entrees were SO delicious that patrons were excited to spontaneously share their favorite suggestions with others. Our choices, which were all spectacular, included: Sangria, Salmon, Caprese Salad, to-die-for Hush Puppies, and desserts too. We were so focused on the beauty of each dish that I forgot to take more pictures. Congratulations Chef and Staff!!! We’ll be back soon!

Jarrettown Hotel - Dresher

Rating: 4.3 /5
Derek Platt Came here on a mostly empty Sunday night. Setvice was good, and the food was fantastic. We started with the pumpkin martini, which looked and tasted great. For apps we got the coconut shrimp and burrata, both of which were excellent. For entrees we had the Jarrettown and the special, which was a nice big filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Jarrettown chicken was perfeclty seasoned and the pasta and vegetables in the cream sauce completed the dish. The filet was flawless and just melted in your mouth, and the mashed potatoes were some of the best wed ever had. For dessert we had the brownie and ice cream, which was so good we tried to order a 2nd one but they were out of brownies. Service suffered slightly because of a difficult table next to us, but they tried there best to make sure everyone was attended to. And while everything tasted amazing, I had actually ordered veal with the Jarrettown but it came out with chicken. It was so good though that I only realized it halfway through the meal. They comped us that entree, which we appreciated but certainly didnt expect. We will definitely be returning here because now I have to try the veal!

Bella Cucina - Franklin

Lisa Kay Excellent experience! The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was excellent! Definitely made our Top Ten. The restaurant is smaller so their are people talking around you but we had no problem having our own conversation. The restaurant is very pretty and comfortable. They have a heated outdoor patio. Parking is right beside the restaurant or nearby. Very walkable town for after dinner right exploring and they are right next to a nice park. I had the pecan crusted chicken and it was DELICIOUS! My husband had a pasta dish with artichokes and sausage and he loved it! Also tried the smoked chicken egg rolls for our appetizer and it was the best Ive ever had. We had Italian strawberry cream cake for dessert and it was light and yummy. We will be going back soon.
the log cabin restaurant

The Log Cabin Restaurant - Leola

Rating: 4.6 /5
Tommy Morris Ive been aware of the Log Cabin for decades but for one reason or another Ive never actually been. Ive made a terrible mistake. The atmosphere delivers. The staff was amazing, and the food was fantastic. My daughter had potato crusted halibut (not pic). My wife had the scallop and cod cakes. I had the pork shank osso buco. Everything was cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly and the accompaniments were a very creative blend of flavors. Their chef is very talented. I just couldnt say goodbye without trying their sticky toffee pudding, which lived up to its reputation. Ill definitely be returning to try some other selections from that incredible menu.

Andrew Smith Great experience. The food is fantastic. Had a meeting with colleagues and our table was ready as per our reservation. Great variety of specials from appetizers to entrees and desserts in addition to the regular menu. The service was quick and attentive. Not a negative really but an observation, the dining chairs are very lite weight and several tipped over including my own. Would definitely recommend.

Tiva Leser Very delicious food with interesting combination of flavors that we don’t get. The service was very good. Waiter manager and others were making sure our drinks were filled and our table was cleaned up after every plate was changed out. We ordered the pork chop which didn’t come with any side really so you had to order one. The steak with frits cane with the French fries which were suppose to be crispy but weren’t. cucumbers Thai side salad with a little spiciness and for dessert the Meyer’s lemon soufflé cake. I thought it would be warm but it wasn’t and it didn’t taste like a soufflé to me or my husband.
