The Barley Mow - (Near West Reading, PA)

5 /5 Jahanvi Gupta: I recently visited Barley Mow again and was blown away by the quality of their dishes. The Avocado Toast was a standout dish, with a stunning presentation and a perfect balance of flavors. The acidity of the pickled onions balanced out the sweetness of the mushrooms, and the pesto oil added a light and fresh component to the dish. The eggs were deliciously creamy and fluffy, and the Cheddar Scram Sammie sandwich was a 9/10. This sandwich combines their signature fluffy eggs with gooey melted cheddar cheese to create an elevated egg salad sandwich. Overall, I would give Barley Mow a 10/10 for brunch and would definitely return every weekend if I could.

5 /5 Chad Campbell: So many selections of beers and the atmosphere is amazing! The food is an acquired taste and for the adventurous. While not my type of food, I always come for the beer.

5 /5 Morgan Radcliffe: Pleasantly surprised! This is not your typical pub menu. The food has an Asian twist which made it so unique. They have a great beer selection, that I was able to try with their flights. Definitely recommend The Veil Remember Me #8 if it’s still available. And absolutely no complaints from our meals. The sticky chicken had amazing flavor, my parents loved the cucumber salad that came with it. My pork adobo bowl was very good, and packed full of flavor. We got the sweet corn tacos, that were so refreshing and light with the avocados and goat cheese on top. I think my favorite out of all the dishes was the poutine. (Not pictured) The sauce they used was absolutely one of the best poutines I’ve had. Little bit of spice and zing to complement the pork on top of the tater tots. We definitely will be back just for that poutine to say the least.

5 /5 Daniel Handy: I cant believe I didnt know about this place before! When you first walk in its such a comfortable vibe with the artwork and relaxing seating, then the service was outstanding. Next the food.. I cant say enough. They had unique dishes that just blew our taste buds out of this world. You will have to see for yourself.
