The Belvedere Inn - (Near Lancaster, PA)

Carly Alcaraz The best meal and dining experience I have ever had as a celiac with MANY other allergies! (Allergic to yeast, nightshades, can’t have potatoes or rice too) My husband made a note on our reservation that I was celiac and I let them know just in case. The manager came out and walked me through everything, said he had family with celiac so he understands the seriousness of it. He told me how to order the desserts to be gluten free (ex: passion fruit mousse, can be made with no graham cracker crust) he told me I can have all of the meats except for the spicy ones. He said they religiously put the spicy meats on the bottom racks specifically so no cc. He also specifically told me that the fried bananas are in their own dedicated frier, I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on that part. But as of December 2025 I can tell you they are safe to eat! I tried pretty much everything that he said I could have and I didn’t have a SINGLE reaction to any of the food. I’m saying this as someone who does NOT go out to eat, ever. I can’t. But I heard this place goes above and beyond and took a chance and WOW am I glad I did. Also got the creme brûlée for dessert, insaaaaanely good! If you have allergies and want to feel safe somewhere, THIS is the place! Pricey? Hell yeah. But the peace of mind and the ability to eat out made it a night to remember and I can’t recommend it enough. Already planning on going back for my wedding anniversary!

Melita Wessely We had such a lovely evening at Harp & Crown! From the moment we walked in, the cozy yet stylish vibe set the tone for a great meal. Our server was amazing — super friendly and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu. He suggested a few dishes, and we decided to go with his recommendations. From the small plates, we tried the pierogi, which was pretty good. However, the real showstopper was the pork spare ribs — hands down the best dish of the night! The meat was tender, packed with flavor, and had just the right amount of glaze. We also had the garlic prawns and chicken dumplings, both of which were delicious — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The food wasn’t the only highlight, though. The ambiance was amazing and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. It’s one of those places that makes you want to stay a little longer just to soak it all in. Overall, Harp & Crown really delivered on great food, great service, and great vibes. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu next time!

Andrew Smith Great experience. The food is fantastic. Had a meeting with colleagues and our table was ready as per our reservation. Great variety of specials from appetizers to entrees and desserts in addition to the regular menu. The service was quick and attentive. Not a negative really but an observation, the dining chairs are very lite weight and several tipped over including my own. Would definitely recommend.

Arthur “Tex” Wonderful place for brunch on Sunday, dinner on a week night or lunch on Saturday. Best nachos in the Abington’s by far. The drink’s from the bar a great as well as the food from the kitchen. Outdoor seating is nice even though there’s much traffic - does not interfere with dining. Bring the igloos back, please.

Craig Toocheck Looking for my past review, I think I neglected to mention that over the many, many times weve been here that we always left very satisfied. From the staff to the kitchen, a dinning experience to measure others dinner presentations by, simply top notch. I personally like the larger South African lobster, as available, because it tastes fresh here at Vallozzis and not "musty" tasting as "some others" lobster tails taste. Were soon coming for lobster! Christine G I got a recommendation for this place as the best steak in the area. This was accurate. I have never had a better steak. The service was top-notch even though they were short-handed, and the mashed potatoes were heavenly. This place is a real gem, and we will be back soon.
