The Original Italian Pizza & Restaurant - (Near Shamokin, PA)

Kate First time there and first time trying African food. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful with ordering. The food was delicious, reasonable pricing, came out quickly and had great portions. I will go back to try other things on the menu!

Torin McFarland I went here with my family and we had such a lovely meal, from start to finish. The food is delicious, the decor is fun (with balconies, artwork, and maps of Italy), and the tables are cozily nestled amongst each other, making for a convivial environment. Highly recommend you stop by!

Michael Horner From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. My girlfriend and I stopped in today after a swim meet. We were pleasantly surprised at how awesome this place was. Old time pub atmosphere and very inviting. Our server was everything we could have asked for. Personable, attentive, and all-around good at her job. Sorry, her name escapes me. Then the food came. The deviled eggs were a great starter and got us excited for the rest of the food. She had the Ruben, and I had the butcher burger. Everything was cooked perfectly. I would love to go back for dinner sometime soon. Go check this place out in your in the area. Note: I cut the burger in half before I took the picture. Got excited lol.

marjorie thibodaux Good selection. Great bar with wall of sports options playing on variety of televisions spanning across the wall. Selection of smoked foods was a A+ option. Food came fast and was hot and fantastics. Pickles were spicy and fantastic! Definitely come back soon!

I can’t thank Ivan enough for his kindness and dedication in making our intimate dinner a cozy and relaxed evening. The food was unique and delicious! I highly recommend McCarthy’s to anyone looking to host an event.

Sienna B I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy, because I would never want them to experience the absolute blessing this place was. They don’t deserve it. We were but weary travelers returning tired and beaten from our journey. 200 miles to go on the road and no food in our tummy. And then, an oasis, in the barren desert. The LED sign illuminating the sky more than the setting sun, almost as if it was calling us. We were sat quickly with drinks. My friend was informed about the raspberry tea. It was like heaven had tricked down on us. I’ve never tasted anything so succulent and sweet. Our moods were instantly lifted looking at the array of foods presented to us on the menu. I will say the service wasn’t speedy. But that wasn’t what we needed, they knew what we needed. Our plates were overflowing with flavor and spice and everything nice. Scarfing everything down in silence, we wondered what we had done to deserve this food. But we knew, deep down nothing we could ever do in our lifetime would result in us deserving this meal.
