The Peanut Bar Restaurant - (Near Reading, PA)

5 /5 Amali Clarke-James: I am simply blown away by this establishment!! The food was outstanding, the drinks- outstanding, the service and the owner- also outstanding. It was our first time dining here. I found this restaurant on happy cow. Were in town for work nearby and I always struggle to find good vegan options but this place was beyond delicious for both me and my meat eating husband. He had the wings and the scallops. He was full but kept eating because everything was so delicious. He loved the eggnog delight and the peanut butter cup martini (hes not a drinker and hates the taste of alcohol and was ready for more!!) I had the vanilla and the salted caramel moonshines and both completely blew my mind! The vegan options were plentiful and all sounded amazing. I cant wait to try the peanut butter spaghetti. Tonight I hit the vegan chicken parm and I love love loved it. They had various gluten free options as well. We were too stuffed for dessert but the options sounded wonderful too and included a vegan lemon sorbet! The waitress was attentive and made great recommendations and the owner was so sweet and personable!I will definitely be coming back many many times!

5 /5 hayl oliv: This place was great! My sister and I were visiting for an event at Santander arena, we walked here and it was a great meal. We had the crab dip, cheese balls, and chocolate pretzel dessert! Seriously everything was delicious and the staff was so accommodating and friendly even though they were really busy! A must try!

4 /5 D: Very cozy, classy, tucked-away atmosphere. Free parking out back with cool, rear entrance. Mature, calm crowd. No wait and roomy dining area. However wobbly table and hard chair made for a bit uncomfortable seating. Prices moderate, excellent service. Absolute delicious, straight-forward food.

5 /5 Deniz Walling: from out of town & decided to stop in for a bite. the atmosphere and decor is fantastic! i was greeted promptly by michael and he gave me some recommendations on some food to have. i started with the Caesar salad, you can taste how fresh their croutons are! and for dinner i had a featured dish, chicken pasta with peanut sauce. it was so delicious & a healthy portion so i was able to take some home with me! and after that i had a slice of the chocolate covered pretzel pie. it was divine! everything was amazing for my short visit :) bathrooms were clean, food was yummy & service was fantastic. will definitely stop by again when im back in town!

5 /5 Verena Aibel: Excellent short ribs with spaetzle and mushrooms dish! Great easy-going environment, family-friendly, really good menu (lots of choices plus gluten-free available options). Fenced in parking lot behind the restaurant, off of Cherry Street.
