Tre Scalini Ristorante - (Near Bethlehem, PA)

Bob Chepalonis We recently dined at The Refinery with my wife and daughter on a Saturday night, and it lived up to the hype. We had a later reservation at 9:00 p.m., which wasn’t easy to get—this place is very popular for good reason. Being open for only about a year or so, it has already built a strong reputation for excellent food and a great dining experience. We started with a couple of drinks, and one thing that immediately stood out was the complimentary appetizer they bring to the table. It included beans, peppers, mozzarella cheese, and olives, and it was simple but very well done and full of flavor. We also ordered the focaccia appetizer, which they are well known for, and it absolutely lived up to expectations—fresh, warm, and delicious. For dinner, we ordered a margarita pizza, which was excellent, and I split a pasta dish featuring pork cheek, while my wife had the pumpkin-stuffed pasta. Both pasta dishes were outstanding, well-prepared, and perfectly portioned. Every bite showed the quality and care put into the food. The waitstaff was excellent—attentive, efficient, and respectful of our time. Drinks were served promptly, dinner came out quickly, and we were in and out within about 50 minutes, which was impressive for a busy Saturday night. The only thing we took home was a slice of pizza. Highly recommended.

Derrick Bautista A Surprising Vegan Delight at Vida Verde I’ve always been a bit hesitant about vegan food, but Vida Verde changed my perspective. I stopped by around 9 AM and was pleasantly surprised they were open—perfect for breakfast! I ordered the “Tuna” Sandwich (made with chickpeas), and it was delicious. It had a great texture and a flavorful spice kick that made it anything but boring. It really hit the spot. The owner was incredibly welcoming and shared that their birria bowls, sausage, and buffalo wings are customer favorites. They even mentioned that his personal favorite is the breakfast sandwich. Overall, the food was delicious, the folks were friendly, and I’m definitely coming back to explore the rest of the menu. If you’re vegan, vegan-curious, or just love good food—this place is worth a visit.

Lexie Pflager This place is such a great find. I didn’t expect the restaurant to be connected to a hotel so I was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. I definitely recommend making a reservation if possible as the seating is limited due to the small space. We had drinks, appetizers with our meal and we could not have been more satisfied. I highly recommend the crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer, wild mushroom melt and Pittsburgh plunge sandwich. The service, atmosphere, and food were all amazing. Only negative is that we had to sit with our purses on our laps due to the small table tops (which isn’t that big of a problem). Would definitely recommend this place.

Ron Seliga My second patronage of Pyramids Friday fish fry. This time, I got the regular fish sandwich which I previous posted was a slightly smaller bun and a single long breaded filet. One again, I enjoyed a good fish sandwich and an added bonus of homemade cookies (chocolate chip and a banana nut concoction that tasted like the same-named muffin) that one employee was offering to those waiting to pick up their fish. Once again I arrived in the last half-hour of their service and ordered when I got there. I tried to order via phone 20 minutes earlier but couldnt ring through. Im thinking I like showing up that late. Instead of being a bit disgruntled by the near-closing time order, owner Jimmie-George (lol, hell know) and his wife were much more pleasant that many restauranteurs Ive known...and a lot more jovial than I am at the end of the work day. I love a good fish sandwich but I am going to be trying Pyramids other Friday seafood dinners because if they do such a good job with the sandwich, I am eager to check out their dinners.

Sheri M The service was great. The fundido was amazing. The Alpastor tacos were great. Would have been better if there were three instead of two. Really loved the blood orange margaritas.

Serge Gavriliuk I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews, but this restaurant truly impressed me. The food was incredibly delicious, reasonably priced, and beautifully presented. The interior is warm and inviting—such a pleasant atmosphere to dine in. The service was also outstanding; the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to everyone.
