The Groove Steak & Lobster House - Rockport

Rating: 4.2 /5
Savannah Watkins we had an amazing experience here. the pesto pasta , Alfredo pasta, and bbq chicken pizza were all delicious and clearly made with care. the crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect ending and absolutely incredible. the service truly stood out. our server ( Lou the third i think ) was also a juggling multiple roles which made the experience even more special. he was so personable, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of despite juggling multiple responsibilities . hearing about his baby on the way made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. we will definitely be back. great food, amazing service, and a really welcoming atmosphere.
la condesa

La Condesa - Austin

Aaron Gill Great brunch at La Condesa! We arrived right at opening and the service was fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The chicken chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, churro waffles, and queso flameado were all hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Agua Frescas were super tasty and refreshing. They were very accommodating about us not eating pork and the brunch menu is surprisingly vegetarian‑friendly. Do note that the queso is authentic Mexican queso (not Tex‑Mex), rich and delicious. So if your expecting Tex-Mex, it may not be for you, but we thought it was delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and the chilaquiles had some good spiciness but was a bit salty, however it was still excellent. Generous portions, great quality, and overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Cray Leticia “LeLe” First time dining here and it exceeded expectations. Ordered the filet minon and my fiance ordered the ribeye (Oscar style). The waiter was wonderful and made excellent recommendations. I feel as though the experience was made even better by the waiter’s service! The Mac and cheese was heavenly and the vegetables of the day were brussels sprouts which were also delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

James Williams This place has a real garden on site. The food and service was great. They make fresh desserts. I heard the bread pudding was the best. I had the key lime pie which was perfectly balanced. This is a must try.

McAdoos Seafood Company - New Braunfels

Hollywood Dave Housed in a beautifully remodeled historic U.S. Post Office, McAdoo’s Seafood Company is the go-to destination for outstanding seafood with a distinctive Cajun flair. The service is consistently excellent, and the food is always spot-on. Fresh oysters are flown in from coast to coast and served raw on the half shell or in the classic Rockefeller style. I’ve never had a disappointing entrée here—if you’re not too hungry, a couple of appetizers can easily make a satisfying meal. The Sunday brunch is a standout experience all its own. The build-your-own Bloody Mary bar is exceptional, offering a choice of several mixes and an impressive array of garnishes, including boiled shrimp and crisp bacon.

Brittany Tran I had dinner here for a friend’s birthday and the vibes, food, and staff were amazing! The portions were filling and the staff were very friendly. We had complimentary focaccia bread and got fritto misto to start and then fettuccine bolognese, gnocchi al tartufo, lasagna al forno, rigatoni ala vodka, and pollo a la griglia as our entrees. I definitely recommend their fettuccine bolognese as it was so satisfying and hearty. My friends really liked the gnocchi as well. Food was so good I say get an entree for just yourself, but it is very easy to eat family style here with their portions. The bella rosa mocktail was refreshing and we loved tiramisu we had for dessert. Our server, Eduardo, was so essential to the good experience and was very attentive to our table making sure we were comfortable and taken cared of. Our birthday girl was treated especially well and every interaction with him was so positive and fun. The energy here was great and the birthday girl really loved the presentation of the food and desserts with special golden candles. Eduardo really made us feel like welcomed guests and good friends and we would definitely go again for him! Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for an Italian spot with good portions and nice ambiance.
