Destiny Green I just ordered from them for the first time.. and my goodness is was amazing.. we ordered a chicken fried steak plate and a beef tips and rice plate.. AMAZING!!!!. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.. we will be coming to eat great home cooked meals here again

Carla Radcliffe Castaways is the new gem in Pittsburg, TX. Being gluten free I asked them if they could put salads on their new menu and they DID…and let me say it’s delicious. I have had it twice now once with grilled shrimp the other with grilled chicken and they did not disappoint. And not to mention our server Stephanie (on a packed night) was amazing!!! Great job!!

Fireman Joshua Yanes The service has been great, the staff is very friendly and very attentive. Let’s gets down to the brass tax.. Chips and salsa, were pretty good. The chips taste home made, and they give you two salsas, one hot and one cold, both of which were great. The margaritas on the rocks; Got a flight of four, mango, watermelon, sangria, and strawberry. All of which were great, definitely taste like they use real purée. Abuelitas plate; a gordita stuffed with beans and cheese and choice of meat., comes with a Soft Taco , rice and beans on the side. My lady enjoyed the chicken taco, and the Al pastor Gordita. Both came with plenty of meat and yummy pico de gallo. The rice was tasty, and she opted for the charro beans which were a 6/10 but the rest of her plate was a 8-9/10 Caldo de res. I opted for the large size, and everything in it is great, the rice is tasty, all the veggies were cooked right and the broth was yummy! They also give a healthy portion of meat in this plate. Overall, this place is a hit, don’t knock it till you try it. The inside service is top notch, can’t complain about a thing.
