Mo Mastermind For a Saturday night, this place was surprisingly quiet. It felt like a hidden gem in the heart of Frisco—beautifully decorated, welcoming, and intimate. Our server was kind and attentive, and he made several solid recommendations, including from the dessert menu after dinner. To start, we had the bacon and eggs (deviled eggs) and the lobster jar. Both were delectable! I don’t think any restaurants serve deviled eggs with the balance of sweet and savory that I prefer and make, but the million dollar bacon helps to make up for the lack of sweet in the egg filling. The lobster was perfectly cooked—velvety and buttery, with a hint spice—and it was paired with the perfect bread. For dinner, we had the carbonara pasta and the salmon, both of which were pretty good. My only issue with the salmon was that the menu description mentioned it was cooked in a butter sauce and served over risotto—I subbed the avocado risotto for veggie risotto per our server’s suggestion—but the salmon was so HEAVILY drizzled with some kind of balsamic sauce, that it overpowered an otherwise solid dish. Next time I would order the same thing and ask that they hold the sauce. If they are committed to keeping this sauce, they should avoid the zebra-like design and do a very LIGHT drizzle, and it would be great! Finally, we got a slice of red velvet and a slice of caramel coconut pecan cake to go. I’m not big on sweets but both cakes had the most amazing flavors—superb, really! Overall, it was a nice and unexpected experience, and I appreciate their willingness to accommodate most any substitution. We will definitely come back, though I do agree with some others that the pricing does not match the experience.

Amanda Heeter We didn’t get photos of food, we were unprepared with how good this would be. From the beginning welcome to drinks and food, this place is hands down incredible! We had the sausage breakfast burrito and huevos potosinos plate with Barbacoa. The salsa & guac & chips, excellent too. Blood Maria highly recommend. This place is outstanding

Sydney Wilson By far the best lunch spot! A true hidden gem. I have yet to find anything on their menu that was not worth the five stars. Its always fresh and tastes wonderful. The pasta salad is addicting. My new go to spot for sure.

Warren Josh “JW” Justin was very helpful in making suggestions as we had never been here before. The enchiladas, steak, and puffy tacos were great. Soo much food, too much to eat at once. The atmosphere was really cool too. We sat outside on the patio and didnt regret it. There was a guy playing some live music, which was nice.

Kelly Olson-Mills I LOVE this place. This place has character. The food is so good, service is great, The owners are the friendliest people and answered all my questions about the local history. You guys did a super excellent with the decor, I really love the tables, thats a lot of work, good job. Your hospitality was priceless OTR drivers are very welcome, Theres a lot next to the building for parking. Stop by and enjoy the small hometown feel. Little gift shop that supports locals. Beautiful things. Wheel barrel need to get back out to your vehicle, because you will be stuffed when you leave

Paul Candelaria First time here. Coming out with the wife and daughter. We got a small supreme pizza – delicious! Spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs – delicious! And chicken Parmesan and angel hair pasta – very very good! We work this into our regular routine! Im glad they opened up their doors!
