Lindsay Diaz What a fantastic discovery this BBQ spot was on our drive to Oklahoma! You place your order right from an Airstream, and the friendly staff delivers your food to your table. We tried the Land Yacht specialty sandwich with beef, sausage, pickle, and onion, and it was delicious. The Jumbo Loaded Baked Potato with pulled pork was also a hit. And you definitely shouldnt skip the Large Stuffed Jalapeño pepper—it was incredibly flavorful and surprisingly filling. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for more to take with us for the weekend! The staff were genuinely friendly and engaged with all the guests, making for a great experience.

Neecie Price Best burger ever!! Hot, fresh, flavorful! The staff are wonderful as well! Full of smiles and great service. Do not pass this place up, please go in and get a burger. Any burger. I promise you won’t be disappointed! (My husband said the Philly cheesesteak was delicious as well!)

JoanZ auce Great Gorditas! I am a regular here, and everytime I order food I am never disappointed. The lady’s really hustle, especially when they get busy during the lunch hours. They also have really good salsa.

William albaugh This is a hip restaurant located in a complex of sorts with a team shop, a small healthy grocery store, golf and a bar. The interior is a cool setup of tables and booths and adjacent bar. A variety of menu items like chicken and waffles, brisket quest, deviled eggs- but we came for the pizza. We had a standard all meat and a Cali Pizza recommended by Des, our server. Pizza was good. You can go with the specialties or build your own. Des was an excellent server. Very nice, helpful, and attentive. Cool kid - excellent job! Swing by and grab some food and kick back and enjoy.

Sandra Balido Casa Azul has officially become one of my favorite gourmet Mexican dining experiences in Laredo. The attention to detail, creativity, and depth of flavor in every dish was truly outstanding. We started with the aguachile de pulpo, and it was phenomenal — perfectly tender octopus with a bright, fresh kick, elevated even more by their salsa tatemada, which added an incredible smoky richness. It set the tone for an amazing meal. The short ribs with jamaica and popcorn flowers were unforgettable. Fall-apart tender, beautifully balanced, and plated with care. But the surprise standout was the queso panela with black salsa — tangy, slightly sweet, and absolutely addictive. The toasted leeks on top added the perfect texture and flavor contrast. And the jocoque with charred beets… simply to die for. Creamy, bold, and full of character — one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. Casa Azul delivers thoughtful, elevated Mexican cuisine with flavors that feel both inventive and deeply rooted. If you’re looking for a place in Laredo that goes above and beyond traditional dishes and delivers a true gourmet experience, this is it. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go back.
