5 /5 L R: The food was amazing!!! This is the fourth time I’ve been since they’ve open and the quality hasn’t come down a bit! The staff are always friendly and hard at work and always genuine. Which really gives the place a cheerful atmosphere. With the beautifully newly painted wall and the colorful chalkboard outside displaying the newest specials, I feel like I found my own person Bob’s Burgers IRL!
They recently add desserts to their menu (Red Velvet cake, Chocolate Mousse cake and a lite Lemon cake) and of course a new specialty burger this month replacing lasts month amazing Swiss Smash Burger, The Cowboy Burger. It’s a hefty order coming with two smash patties with Cheese topped with smoked brisket, grilled onions, pickles and a best barbecue sauce this side of the Metroplex.
The brisket and sauce are a specialty order from the chef/Owners favorite brisket spot. While the brisket maybe reheated, you could never tell with the love and care that goes into it make this brisket burger come to life.
Now as any good Texan knows, reheating a brisket is Not as easy as it sounds, for the uninitiated, sticking it in the microwave would dry it out be for you can turn your back to the microwave and walk off. Leave it in the oven too long can do the same especially if you wanna keep it warm for whole day, it because chewy. So the grill master came up with their own answer to the problem, making sure that every order has the same fresh taste, the same smokey flavor with the most tender and moist slices of brisket each time.
But the brisket isn’t the only star in this show. Grilled onions that are perfectly sautéed and beautifully browned to perfection enhancing the flavor of the brisket. A brown sugar barbecue sauce combine with your standard hamburger pickles, giving it that hint of vinegar that compliments the sweet flavors of any great barbecue sauce, giving an overall outstanding flavor to this burger. All of this served over, Not One but TWO perfectly seasoned smash patties with the cheese. Yes, all of it on top of their signature seasoned Agus beef patties. And of course their Cowboy Burger and long with their crunchy battered/seasoned fries is just a perfect meal for dinner.
If you get the chance, I’d order the Cowboy Burger while it’s available. The chef like to have a rotating specials, with the Swiss Smash Burger a success and this Cowboy Burger definitely hitting the spot, I can’t wait to see what the next special could be.
