Alex This + Hu-Dat is a must-try place in Rockport. We go every time were in the area. Everything weve tried has been stellar, from the pho, to the noodle dishes, to the gator, and calamari. Everything has been so good. The atmosphere is always lovely, the staff are always friendly, and the food comes out hot and fast. The prices are what you should expect for the quality and quantity of the food. The portions are large enough to feed 2 people most times. The calamari, fried gator, and the fried oysters are my favorites that I get every time. The pho is homemade and authentic, and has an incredible depth of flavor. The Happy Family is flavorful, chock full of meats and veggies. You cant go wrong here.

Monica Delgadillo Miranda We sat upstairs, had a great waitress! We ordered the los lonely and the other burger with mushrooms and we loved it. We shared a side of parm fries and yum! We did order the house margaritas both- on the rocks and frozen and we did not like the at all. The waitress was amazing and changed our drinks. I would definitely recommend this place! The TV upstairs is kind of small so not the best place to watch a game but it’s doable.

TW Highly recommend!!! If you’re looking for an excellent warm southern made from scratch dining experience. Bring your friends, family or loved ones. This is the perfect place. The food quality is excellent with such wonderful dishes and some really wonderful surprises on the menu “Country Deep Fried Bacon”, BBQ Ranch dressing and Cinnamon Honey Butter that adds that little extra flavor. The restaurant gives you that country classic feel with well designed touches for that good home family feel. The staff and management are engaging with such warm hospitality and friendly service. Pro Tip~ “Dine in Only Specials” are such wonderful dishes and Only $9.99 All made from scratch…

Melinda Dague We ordered chicken flautas which were excellent! The presentation was flawless, as well. The table guacamole is superb! The chips are amazing and hot out of the kitchen. They offer a red salsa and a guacamole based green salsa. There is a bean dip, too. I prefer the red salsa since it is a bit sweet while the green salsa is a bit more sour. For entrees, we ordered Chilaquiles and Enchiladas de Mole. The food is high quality and we had plenty of leftovers to take with us for another meal. The servers were very personable and knowledgeable. We came during the late afternoon on a Saturday. We definitely enjoyed our meal and it was less hectic than eating at a more typical lunch time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in the vicinity. It is great Tex-Mex cuisine!

Ricky Carvajal I think what made our experience a pleasant dinner was our waiter, Oscar. He was on top and made sure we were taken cared of. The food and presentation were excellent. The setting and the atmosphere was awesome. We took toddlers with us (grandkids) and they were treated just as nice. I will come back for sure . It’s an upscale restaurant. Ruby Gregory We stopped for dinner as we passed through on a road trip. The Rojo enchiladas were the best I’ve ever had! The top shelf margarita was great too. The staff is so friendly and it’s very clean. I’d come back if we are ever in town again!
