Cynthia Westbrook This is a laid back setting and is fun and relaxing atmosphere. The burgers are super, thick and juicy with just right seasoning. The fries and onion rings were crispy and fresh. The queso was tasty with just right pepper heat. We topped it off with a fabulous German chocolate cake. When we are in Fredericksburg, we make it a point to visit Alamo Springs for a burger. Its near Grapetown and just past Old Tunnel State Park. Well worth the drive.

Robert Korngiebel Really nice, upscale, Tex-Mex restaurant. We started with the ceviche this evening, the presentation was stunningly beautiful although, be aware, that it’s very spicy. We also had the duck tacos and a chicken chimichanga. I must say the stand out among those two was the chimichanga. It was rolled in a flatter manner than most so there was no excess tortilla dough at the end. They put queso on half and chile on half so it was almost like two chimichangas because the dual nature of the flavor profile. Of the items we ordered, the chimichanga was the star and may just be the best chimichanga I’ve had in DFW.

Cliff Benedict I have always loved there food and beer on tap selection and today I had the Reality Burger and it was the best start to my New Year I could have ever asked for! A chicken fried steak on a their sourdough bun with house queso and jalapenos with a Stella to wash it down was fantastic. I had a side of onion rings. This restaurant is truly a staple of San Marcos.

john connolly Very relaxed environment, great view of the bay. I had a shrimp po boy and it was delicious. It is a little more expensive then surrounding establishments. The atmosphere makes it worth it. Great place for couples or large groups. Very kid and dog friendly.

M Slag Outstanding food and even better service. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was our first time here and my wife and I were offered free samples to help us decide what to order. The food was served hot and fresh. We had the 2 meat combo with butter chicken curry and chicken 65 curry with a bed of steamed basmati rice. The combo meal included hot buttered naan bread - it was fantastic - hot, fresh, and slathered in butter with tasty seasonings. Overall: amazing flavors and generous portions. We were stuffed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kingsville.

Justin McAdoo Chicken fried steak was awesome, it is tender with no gristle and thick meat. Wife had the ribeye steak quesadilla, very good. Kids were satisfied with the burgers, fried pickles were pretty good. Overall, for such a small town, this is a jewel. Fantastic service and has a bar.
