Lance Mayfield Tucked away in the heart of Beorne, 259 Brantleys Bistro & Bar is the kind of place you hope to find when you’re looking for a genuine good time. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between a relaxed neighborhood bar and a vibrant spot for a night out. The drinks here are truly terrific. The bar staff clearly knows their craft, whether they’re mixing a margarita or serving up a perfectly made pecan old fashioned. The menu offers a solid and satisfying selection, with something to please every palate. We found ourselves trying a few different cocktails throughout the evening and each one was expertly made and refreshing. What really makes the experience stand out, however, is the service. The entire team, from the hosts to the servers, is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They manage to be efficient and prompt without ever making you feel rushed, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. And staying a while is highly recommended, especially when the live bands take the stage. The entertainment schedule is a major draw, and for good reason. The bands we heard were very entertaining, offering a great mix of covers and original tunes that had the whole room energized. The sound level is well-managed, allowing for conversation at your table while still letting you enjoy the music. 259 Brantleys is the full package: great drinks, wonderful service, and fantastic live music. It’s an excellent choice for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or a weekend date. This is a standout establishment in Beorne and has easily become a new favorite.

S D We have been to many Texas Roadhouses across the country and the one thing I can say is: They are so kind and friendly at each location and that the food is always top notch! We were in town for a meeting and were next door at the outlet malls and decided to see if we could get a seat. We were not sure if there would be a spot ad the place looked packed. But they were great and we were seated in a few minutes. The steak was a little less cooked then I would have liked but I was not going to send my back. My friend`s steak was perfect. I love that each restaurant has its own theme. This one had some great caricature photos on the walls. They had the baseball game playing so we were watching while waiting for our food. We did not see any peanuts though. They are usually at the front door that you can take a bag with you. Not a big issue. We may have just missed them.

Laura Rea Brunch was EXCELLENT! They were quite busy, and I had to wait a bit longer for my OJ. However, the food was delicious. Plentiful and only $15 for what you see below. Biscuit was amazing with the butter. Potatoes perfectly cooked. The silver dollar pancakes were just the right portion. Fruit was fresh.

T S My wife and I were in the area on business and staying at the hotel next door. We noticed the good reviews and decided to give this place a try last night and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the wait staff was excellent. I believe our server’s name was Anna, and she was awesome. The food was amazing as well; I was expecting more of a bar-style menu, but it turned out to be some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had, incredibly fresh I highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in the area. It’s by far the coolest place on the water, and the live music made for a perfect night.

Chris McGrail These girls definitely have something special here in Lamar! The burgers are great, but what I was really impressed with was the bun. Chili and cheese frys were on point as well. So happy to have this in the neighborhood, stop by and get a burger from the girls!

SouTex Traveller Love supporting family-owned and operated businesses and 806 is just better than any chain options! Fast, friendly service. Very reasonable prices for fresh or hot (or both) food. Our salads were huge, loaded and fresh. Our Calzone was really enough for two and a screaming good deal at $9! Eat in or take out, just a better option!
