Gabriel Carrington When I say hands down this was the best and I mean best restaurant I went to in a very long time with the most wonderful customer service I have experienced in a long time. Not only that the food was amazing like very good. I got full quickly but the omelette was amazing so I couldn’t really start on my pancakes I took them home. My daughter and son both really enjoyed their food as well. 10 out of the 10. Definitely would go again and recommend.

Fonzy_RgV (Dark Knight_956) Hadnt heard about this hidden gem until a family member from Austin came to the RGV and told me about it through her friend channels. Wait was not long, food came out fast and very delicious. It was a party of three and we each ordered different chilaquiles to get a taste of the variety. The food was very flavorful and tasted homemade as if "la jefa" was back their running her culinary magic. I ordered a michelada and it tasted basic but the presentation was great. If they flared up the flavor of the miche mix a bit it would pair perfectly with their dishes. My wife loved the mimosas and the various options. I gave the service 4 stars because our server seemed rushed and a bit bothered to serve. It really didnt bother us because everything else was perfect. We will definitely be coming back to try some of the other amazing dish options this establishment has to offer. Im glad restaurants like these are part of Brownsville now. It shows city growth and variety.

Jesus Adame Absolutely very good Mexican food. Amazing Queso as well. Great service. Excellent prices and portions too! We used to go to the Mexican restaurant across from Tractor Supply, but the quality and quantity of the food has gone down hill. The prices at Puerto are more reasonable.

Kim Morris OMG! Sits right next to Chilis......why would anyone go to Chilis with this place nextdoor? Wow! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Way more than you can eat and tasty! The corn fritters were amazing. We had chicken fried steak and the Doc Holliday were both amazing!! Highly recommend!!

Vicky Gao I had such a great dinner at Bulla Gastrobar! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully plated. The octopus was perfectly grilled and tender, not chewy at all — definitely one of the highlights. The calamari was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the dipping sauce was super refreshing. The paella was rich, flavorful, and packed with shrimp, clams, and seafood — definitely worth trying if you come here. We also ordered the short ribs, which were incredibly soft and paired perfectly with the creamy sauce. Their drinks were also really good — especially the red sangria, very fruity and refreshing. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. It’s a perfect spot for tapas, sharing plates, and enjoying a relaxed evening. Highly recommend!

Brianna Gomez The food was beyond delicious—every bite was full of rich, authentic flavor that made it clear a lot of care goes into every dish. On top of that, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Absolutely phenomenal experience ! Bella Tavola is a true gem—I can’t wait to come back!
