Catfish King of Jacksonville - (Near Jacksonville, TX)

3 /5 BJ Kirby: I wasn’t impressed. My Oklahoma Fried Channel-Cat has never been matched. I’m sure the fish is frozen then thawed. The shrimp appeared to have been the same. My expectations were likely too high as I noticed this place has been here forever. I also didn’t expect NOT to have table service. They delivered the meal but when I asked for cutlery I was directed to the counter in the front where the packages of plastic-ware was. I also managed to fetch my beverage refills. So, if this is what you’re into, give em a try. This little watery just didn’t matchup to the rest of my super friendly experiences at all of the other businesses I visited while on my short overnight trip to Jacksonville, Texas. Yeehaw. Love the folks here. It reminds me so much of Sulphur, Oklahoma!

5 /5 Michael Griffis: Had a wonderful experience there. Food was the best fish in the area. Prices were reasonable. The service was excellent. Staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will be back and recommend you stop by and have a great meal here.

5 /5 Daniel Hamby: Good fish place. Their fish taste great. I tried their Cajun catfish and it was good. The service was excellent as well. It didn’t take long to get the food. All the food tasted great. We’ll definitely come back here.

2 /5 Michael Benton: Me and my wife ate there today it started out good but then she found a brown hair in her food it wasnt ours for sure because im bald and her hair is black. Just be careful and check your food. This was October 22 time was 210 pm. Had to edit this it was the Jacksonville Tx restaurant.
