Justin Conway My wife and I had dinner at BARREL & DERRICK at 9pm on a Monday.
The modern deco dining room was big, clean and beautiful, with low lighting. We were sat immediately by our host at a comfortable booth. Our server was considerate & courteous. We started by sharing a Peach & Burrata Salad, and for the main course we ordered the smoked Turkey Avocado BLT with truffle parmesan fries, a side order of grilled broccolini, the Ultimate Chicken Fried Steak with whipped gold mash potato and house made jalapeño gravy, and a Elysian Space Dust IPA. All the food was phenomenal. This was probably the best Chicken Fried Steak Ive ever had, perfectly breaded & fried. This was one of the best meals we had on our 10 day road trip. I would be surprised if BARREL & DERRICK wasnt the best restaurant in all of Odessa. We spent $113.66 including tip, and it was worth every penny.
