Cheddars Scratch Kitchen - (Near Conroe, TX)

5 /5 Olivia McMillian: We went to Cheddars for lunch...This is one of the prettiest Cheddars Ive seen. Atmosphere was so nice and peaceful, and our waitress was very nice. She did disappear for a little bit while we were waiting for our check, but other than that she did a wonderful job. The smokehouse burger is hands down the best burger from any restaurant Ive had. Broccoli cheese casserole never disappoints, and they truly have some of the best ranch. Would definitely come back to this location if Im in the area.

5 /5 Chris Wessman: This is an ‘ole faithful’ eatery. We’ve been here multiple times and tried different items in the menu. So far, we don’t have any complaints. Walking in the front doors, you’re greeted by a large fish tank and the hostess podium. The ambiance is nice with soft modern music, a full bar to the left side of the restaurant Carter was our waiter and brought us The buttery croissants to start the adventure. We ordered the ribs and chicken tenders and the shrimp platter. The side salad was large enough for 2 and was fresh. The shrimp were hot and crispy. The ribs were smothered in a light BBQ sauce. We ordered the chocolate cake sundae and it was large and delicious. We had to take it home with us since we could not finish it all. The only negative (kinda hard to say it out loud) was the AC was working over time and the ceiling fans made it a little cold for us. It wasn’t enough to keep us from coming back. We will be back!!!!

2 /5 James Brock: Ate there last night with my wife. The croissant, queso cheese and meat with chips, pot pie, and broccoli casserole were all great. The main entree and baked potato were a big disappointment though. The potato was weird (texturally) and cracked as I went to take bites, the salmon was very overcooked and a bit over seasoned, the shrimp was so overcooked and overseasoned that I tried to pass them off to my wife. The rice under the salmon was dry and hard. The queso and drinks came timely but our sides and meal werent served until well over an hour after we got our queso and chips. The server walked past at one point and we looked up as she was walking by and she said, " you havent gotten your food yet? I thought someone brought it to you". About 5 minutes later, she came back with our food, forgot 1 of the two pot pies, and the order of cheese potatoes my wife had asked for. The food was hot so Im assuming it was microwaved or something to explain how overcooked everything was and how the stuffed potato texture was off. As a sous chef myself, I generally dont have high expectations when eating out, but the latter half of my meal was an extreme disappointment.

5 /5 MOE a: Everything was perfect. Hot ,fresh ,quick and friendly. And the prices keep you coming back. I cant think of any bad to say , so I wont say anything. Will definitely be back and make it a regular place from this point forward
