Cheddars Scratch Kitchen - (Near McAllen, TX)

1 /5 Doug Peacock: I really dont know where to start with this review. I dont give bad reviews marginal but not bad. Before I start post managers comped our bill... First we ordered water and lemon the water came and no lemons the waiter came back and took our order but didnt take the menus are croissants came with no dishes to eat them on...with he did come back and we got the lemon and he still didnt take the menus then my lunch came but not my wifes my fries were terrible they would have been fresh 3 days ago my wifes life came it was supposed to be creamy bacon potato soup it had the consistency of scalloped potatoes it was in a very small bowl ...my lunch was served on a steel plate with paper because it was my birthday we ordered the fresh baked cookie with ice cream whipped cream and Cherry its always very very good this time the metal plate holding the cookie was ice cold the cookie would have been baked yesterday the ice cream was smeared all over because we had complained the manager comped the cookie so we called the manager back because the cookie was terrible I said if youre going to come something you should be putting your best foot forward so she personally when and created a new dessert this one whats closer to Cheddars standard. The restaurant is really not that busy so there is no excuse. I do believe because of the warmth of the food it had sat on a warming shelf. management indeed was very apologetic I will also admit this is a brand new store probably going through some growing pains and as I mentioned there were certainly very willing and helpful

5 /5 Adam Trevino: The food and service were excellent. The broccoli was steamed to perfection and the portions were generous. I like the new menu. Our favorite Bourbon Glazed Salmon now comes with grilled shrimp! Highly recommended! The restaurant is too small for the volume of customers! Add a 2nd floor or expand because this food is GOOOOOD!! Julietta and Chelsey were very attentive and kept our drinks replenished. Great teamwork.

She checked on us often without ever making us feel rushed and made sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly personality truly made our meal more enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers, and her positive attitude made a big difference. Thank you, Kassy, for the amazing service we’ll definitely be coming back because of you!

5 /5 jesus sanchez: We went to dine in to this Cheddar since it is a relatively new location in my area and I saw a few negative reviews on it and we wanted to check it for ourselves. For my experience, everything was great. The wait time to be seated was actually less than what we were told. The waiter was very attentive and took our order pretty fast. The food did not take long and it exceeded our expectations. Overall, a great experience and definitely Ill be coming back to this location.
