Chilmoli Mexican Steakhouse - (Near Brownsville, TX)

jasonhsieh13 Deans was a great experience with excellent staff all throuhgout. We stayed at the Kimpton for 4 days. Murat was our server the first day and was amazing in the service he provided. For the next few days, even though he wasnt our server, he still said hi and checked in on us to make sure everything was taken care of. The food was also excellent with great selection of juices and fresh breakfast and brunch with top quality ingredients. I highly recommend if youre staying in the area.

LeeAn Benavides Looks can be deceiving. Don’t be put off by the location or appearance. I was not expecting this caliber of food from this restaurant but I was surprised and impressed. The ribeye was moist and cooked to perfection. The quail was not over cooked and was very juicy and moist with a delicious mesquite wood flavor. The rolls were warm and tasty. The cinnamon butter added the little extra touch. I will say the fried pickles were very good and crispy but very greasy. Overall fantastic food and pricing wasn’t bad either.

Matt T First time trying this place and it didn’t disappoint. Good , fun bar that was christmas themed . Neat looking inside and nice ambiance . Had a couple of drinks and enjoyed this place . Will go back again when in town .

Georgia Rei So yummy! Great service , great food. I could only eat half of what they served me! The empanadas are HUGE- pictured is only half of the chorizo. The homemade tortillas are a mix of yellow and blue corn. Perfectly cooked!

Kels Briayn This was our first time trying TX Southern Sweets, & everything was perfect! The service was impeccable; she was so kind, bubbly, & informative throughout the process. We tried the lemon raspberry pastry, & my boyfriend said it was like a lemon cloud. It was soft, creamy, decadent, & the raspberry jam center added a brightness that tied it all together. It also looked like a raspberry! & she made it herself! The strawberry cheesecake pastry was also rich & flavorful with the cutest, most aesthetically-pleasing design worthy of anyone’s Insta. My partner loved his dirty soda, just the right amount of syrup & sweetness, & my pumpkin spice iced coffee was the perfect blend of cafe coziness & a guilty pleasure sweet treat (also love that they offer pumpkin outside of fall). She said they try new flavors all the time, so we’re excited to try even more new creations. She even gave us samples of some sweet condensed milk candies they’ll be trying soon that were rich, creamy, & not too sugary but perfectly filling for any sweet craving. They also seem to be a local, women-owned & operated business so all the love & support from me! Definitely worth a try, can’t recommend enough!
